We had a great time eating outdoors at the Edge Restaurant in Snowmass Village. They serve authentic German food, and we loved it, especially the fondue. The service was amazing as well. We will definitely return next time during ski season!

The best Schnitzel outside of Vienna (Austria). The Apple Strudel is delicious, too. The Edge is our “secret” happy hour spot after a day on the slopes. Where else can you get a Wiener Schnitzel (or a grilled salmon), an Octoberfest beer, and a shot of whiskey for $25?

I cannot recommend this place enough! We hosted our small wedding reception here and the staff was incredible. The food was unlike any I’ve ever had, so delicious I’m craving it days later. The staff treated my family and friends so well and were attentive. Chris stayed in touch with me the entire time, as I was planning all of this from the east coast. They truly made my wedding a day to remember and I’m so grateful I choose The Edge Restaurant at Timberline to host my event. Can’t wait to come back for our anniversary!

This is the best place to eat in Aspen. The wait staff was considerate, the atmosphere was perfect and the German food was some of the best I’ve had. I got the red deer, schnitzel, brats, potato pancakes, mussels, and apple strudel. All good choices. Make sure you take the opportunity to get here on your visit to Aspen. You will not be disappointed!

Everything was delicious! We had the red deer, pork & deer wurst, gluten free veal Schnitzel, muscles appetizer. The wurst is homemade in house and is fabulous! Was way too full for dessert but the apple strudel looked phenomenal! They are very accommodating for gluten free. All the staff was very friendly!

Love this place!!! What a wonderful spot to connect with family and friends. Food was delicious! We had the red deer with spatzle and rotkraut, and the pork wienerschnitzel which brought us back to our trips to Germany and Austria. The service was on point as well, which is hard to find in a mountain town. You can tell they really care about the food they serve and the experience of their guests. We will definitely be back!

My family has visited Snowmass every few years for 20+ years and Butch’s was always one of our mainstays on the agenda. While we were sad to see Butch’s gone we thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Edge! The pretzel app was delicious, drinks were great, and all our main courses were excellent. We topped everything off with dessert and will definitely come back during our next trip to town. Service/cleanliness was top notch, definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a hearty post-skiing meal.
