Great little place with a lot of history. Our complements to the chef, the French dip sandwich was fantastic. The steak was grilled to perfection while we waited , and the roll was fresh. Cold beer and great food. Don’t miss it.

Great place in Meeteetse. They quickly accommodated a group of 9 on a busy Saturday afternoon with no notice. We really appreciate them fitting us in. Food was great and service was fantastic. We will be back for sure. NWWY OHV Club in Cody, Powell, Montana and all surrounding areas. Thanks again!

Warm welcome, cold beer, amazing food! We visited twice in our few days in the Meeteetse area, and would definitely return! Get the Kickin’ chicken wrap, Steak Salad, Sante Fe salad, of course the burgers and steak sandwiches… and if you’re lucky, homemade Bumbleberry Pie made fresh by a local baker. Delicious!

Cody native – I’ve passed by this restaurant numerous times. It is very good! Welcoming staff and great food that beats 80% of Cody restaurants. Will come here again. Try the French Dip!

I purposefully stopped in Meeteetse Wy for gas rather than stopping in Cody. It was rolling up on dinner and I was feeling a bit peckish, since the day started before the sun was in the sky. I made the Duke proud though since I wasn’t wasting daylight. Around the corner from the only gas station in town was the Elkhorn Bar and Grill so I parked in front and went inside. The establishment was busy with the noise of a local crowd swapping stories about weather and local news. The special was meatloaf taters and gravy, now this told me it was authentic food and not big city. I settled in at the counter and ordered Bull Fries and Bunless Burger for dinner. The waitress did a great job keeping me filled up with drinks as she danced around the room taking care of everyone. The dinner was good and filling, the mood in the building was one that is hard to find in world today, peaceful. Yet, dinner ended and the path back to bride was getting shorter do I saddled up and went south.

Magnum and Rachel did a great job running the place. Fenton and Kelsey will do just as good. Good people, good food, with decent prices.
