Great casual place to eat. Glad they remodeled and expanded the seating, it was needed. The food js great but you need eat more than the empanadas to get full. The cilantro rice was my favorite!

The empanadas were delicious, rice was under cooked and dry, but still had a great flavor, tacos were really good, galic parmesean fries were really good, and the sweet plantains were decent. Would definitely go back, though will likely stick to just empanadas and tacos.

A friend and I visited this weekend and the food was fantastic! They were pretty busy and only had one cook so it took a little while to get our food but it was delicious. The gentlemen taking orders was super nice and very knowledgeable, he answered all of our questions.

I stopped by after seeing them on a DMV run and i immediately had to bring the whole family back that night! Wake Forest, don’t sleep on these delicious hand pies of happiness! We had a variety from ham and cheese to the crazy good Cubano! And did i mention the dessert options… The best it’s the southern, until you try the Nutella, then you question reality after biting into the cheesecake, only to have your world flipped upside-down by the Romeo and Juliet. It’s not just a snack, it’s a journey :). All that to say… Yes, yes you should stop by, yes you should order a box, and please don’t skip on the desserts? See you all again soon!

Was really excited to go back after the re-opening. Tried to order online, for some reason it wasn’t available. Called multiple times and got a generic “voicemail not setup.” Thinking maybe they were busy I drove 20 mins over, only to find like 2 people inside so I’m not sure why no calls or orders could be taken. Then apparently there’s a completely new menu which doesn’t align with their website. They no longer offer the lunch specials and you have to purchase 3+ or more. Unfortunately I left empty handed with no lunch. Please update your websites or answer the phones to reflect what you actually offer.

Wow! I was pleasantly surprises by this hidden hole in the wall!! The empanadas were delicious especially the chicken and cheese! Yucca fries were delicious, everything was!! Also friendly and hospitable!!! Will come again!

Before and after photos lol. The menu had so much variety that I wasn’t sure what to pick! I personally did 4 empanadas (La Havana, Spicy Picadillo & Cheese, Brasileiro, and Raleigh) and they were delicious and tasted so authentic! With the menu being so large, I let one of the workers help me pick out my choices and he did a wonderful job, I wish I remembered his name 🙁 Make sure you do the cilantro dressing! I would 100% recommend and I WILL be back soon 😉
