The Empanada Maker is a fresh and unique new restaurant concept for Southern California, featuring gourmet empanadas, homemade dipping sauces, fresh salads and delicious side dishes. We opened our first restaurant location in Mission Viejo in November of 2013, and we are now celebrating the opening of our newest stores in Irvine and Costa Mesa!
You can also find us roaming the streets of Southern California searching for hungry peeps in our brand new food truck!

Wet empanadas!!?? They all have pretty good taste as I’ve tried ham and cheese beef, chicken and spicy pork buuut unfortunately they’re not cooked too well so they’re all wet empanadas which I’ve never really had :/ I know everyone makes empanadas differently, but this is the first time they were soggy

My girls love this place and so do I. I like that you can buy individual servings, combos, family meals or even frozen pre-made empanadas. I have tried almost every flavor so far and my favorite is the beef! The rice side is delicious and fries are tasty too! The beans have a nice spiciness; mild, but delicious!
