I recently visited an empanada store and was impressed with the freshness and flavor of their empanadas. The dough was perfectly cooked and had a nice texture, and the fillings were delicious and generously portioned.

They don’t open until 8am on Saturday and Sundays the serve breakfast until 10-10:30am but if you don’t want breakfast, you can order the others but will take 5-7 minutes to bake.

My wife and I have gone into the store multiple times, but their food truck came to our apartment complex tonight. Not all empanadas are created equal. These particular ones are always delicious. I had the #1 (Original Chicken) and the #7 (Steak and Cheese). The spinach and cheese and the chicken florentine empanadas are great also. It is great for a quick bite or a meal at any time of the day. This is always worth a repeat visit.

This is a great place to try some bomb empanadas. The ham and cheese is great and the desert ones are SO GOOD! Don’t show up with doughnuts when you can get these. They have family packs packs and good deals. Parking is rough with current construction but normally it’s alright. Located right next to a busy Starbucks. Taste good for take out too.

The empanadas were good. I wouldn’t say this is my favorite empanada place but it fills the itch. We had a large order and it was a lunch rush order on Friday so I can’t really blame them, but they forgot the large sauce to our One Dozen Mix & Match and the regular side order of the same kind of sauce (which we did have to pay an extra $0.49 for, not much but still money we spent for items we didn’t receive). Not sure why this was the only part of the order they forgot, but needless to say the empanadas were kind of dry without it. I called to tell them and they said someone could come pick it up, but we’re a company at work and don’t have the time to go pick up sauce. Hence why we had our food delivered. They said they’d give a credit for the missing sauce, which is nice but didn’t really solve the issue at hand. I probably won’t be back anytime soon, and if I do I probably won’t be doing take out or a very large order. On top of this I don’t recommend the Deviled Egg Potato Salad, at least today’s batch. It tasted like it was on the verge of spoiling. I couldn’t finish it, each bite made me gag. However, I do recommend the Spinach Empanada, super creamy and delicious filling. Just a bit dry without the sauce. Overall I think we were pleased with the food, just disappointed they forgot the best part.

We had a basketball shoot out at Mission Viejo High School, and this place was across the street. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is clean, has several tables up front and a few booths in the back. The empanadas were a good size; like a good hand pie size, rather than some places that serve the little snack sized appetizers. We have 2 athletes who are big eaters, so we bought a dozen. A dozen empanadas costs between $29 and about $33 (I think), depending on which ones you get. There are numbers stamped into the pastry so you know which is which. We tried the Ham and Cheese, Four Cheese, Spinach and Cheese, Veggie, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and the Beef Pot Roast. They have variety of dippng sauces, and we tried the House Chimichurri and the Chipotle Ranch sauces. Everything we ate was delicious, and we liked trying different empanada-sauce combos. It was a great lunch, and we definitely recommend this place. We were too full to try their dessert empanadas, but we will be going back.

Found out about this place from my sister in-law and I’m so glad I did. I love empanada’s and their aren’t too many places that do them right. The Empanada Maker is delicious and they have so much too choose from. My favorite is the Philly Cheese Steak empanada. You can eat them there or take them home. They also offer take a bake empanada’s. Staff was friendly, place was clean and you get a lot of food. This is my new stop on the way to Anaheim and back to San Diego!

A quick and easy empanada shop that is tasty whether you are in the mood for one or a dozen. They have multiple choices of basic empanadas and specialty empanadas, as well as dessert empanadas. Don’t forget the sauce too! I recommend the chimichurri sauce.
