Over priced and took over 40 minutes to make a rice and chicken dish when the park wasn’t even busy. $23 for a plate and drink.

I wasn’t very hungry and my stomach was bothering me. I stopped got some mulligatawny (lentil soup) and naan bread. The soup was perfect It was real hot and fresh. The right amount of saltiness and the lentils were the right consistency and herbs.. I absolutely loved. In the picture below I had already started eating it was Filled to the top. It also helped my stomach feel so much better Thank you so much for making this so delicious. And maybe feel so much better.

Food was absolutely delicious! The palak paneer was layered with flavor and spice, and the garlic Naan has the perfect texture!

It took 45 minutes to get our food. We watched them give it to someone else, then that person brought it back and it sat on the counter for a while. We had to go ask for it because the park was clearing out so we felt like it had to be our food. No apology or whoops or anything, the guy just acted like nothing weird had happened there. Also, it was $40+ for two small meals, a single personal-sized circle of naan, and a drink. The rice comes in a tiny half pint container. I took a picture of it so you know what I mean. It was tiny rice, like white people white rice vs the longer basmati rice i usually see at Indian places. My paneer was so rubbery and squeaky that I googled whether paneer ever squeaked because I wasn’t sure what I was eating. Google told me paneer can be squeaky, so there’s that, but to me it resembled over-fried tofu in chew more than paneer. I’m not going to finish it because it doesn’t taste like much of anything and slogging through piece after piece of hard, dry paneer is making me depressed. It’s not the worst food I ever ate but it might be the worst food I’ve had for $40, and it’s made me late for everything else I hoped to get done this evening by taking an absurd amount of time to be ready for pickup. I could have walked to Asiana over by 35 and got double the food in better quality for $40 in the amount of time it took for this order to be done. Really disappointing.

So excited to find great Indian Food so close to home! Always plenty of parking and seating during the day. Check open times before you go, because the truck hours in the park vary. I got garlic naan, Lamb masala and chana masala. Very tasty and the naan was so hot and fresh!

Amazing vindaloo, amazing naan and Rogan Josh. Probably the best Indian food I’ve ever had in America, and most authentic. No cuts on the quality, and the vindaloo had the best vinegar/warmth but creamy flavour I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend, I know we aren’t going anywhere else. Jeevan is awesome!!!!!!
