Amazing spot we kind of stumbled upon. We thought it had a interesting name and then when we learned more about the resturant/brewery the more intrigued we are by it. The food was amazing and looks well put together and the beer was incredibly tasty as well, very worth the visit for the burger/beer lover

Fun beer hall atmosphere, nice prices, and creative food selections. I tried the peanut butter burger and liked the combination of PB and pickles. The meat itself was good but it was relatively thin (not bad but just something to know), meaning the size isn’t enormous. I like the option to choose from a variety of sides with the burger, without additional cost. I got the broccoli slaw and loved the lemon rind addition.

Finally made it out to Sloop. It’s a little out of the way, but pizzas were delicious and nice to share. Also had the leek dip with pretzel and Dan Dan noodle bowl. The pizzas were amazing. The Dan Dan bowl was an awesome size, and spice level, but had a little too much a Chinese 5 spice flavor that was a little overpowering. Finished the meal with the fig dessert pizza and the pan cookie. All of it was amazing and worth the drive out to Sloop!

New to the area and bartender informed me of specials & gave some good beer descriptions. Never had New England hops featured beers & it was delightful. Burger was great. Broccoli salad was zesty & delicious too.

We went for the Thursday night burger special. If you order a burger and a side, you get a free beer. The lager beer was delicious Just note, the small size beer is really small, a good sampling size. The place had a cool, industrial vibe. Not that easy to find, located on the grounds of the former IBM plant with lots of old factory buildings. You enter the Sloop via a very long hallway, just follow until the end & you’ll see the entrance.

Good beer, good food, good fun for the whole family! Pit stop here with my family halfway through our road trip back to Boston and it was delightful. Lots of space, lots of tables, and lots of good food. We really enjoyed the mushroom pizza but everything else was just as good.

I always like coming here. It’s a funky industrial warehouse environment and has never been too crowded. They’re fast and friendly and it is super spacious with good distance between tables. We’ve tried a variety of foods here- pizzas, burgers, their Asian noodle dishes… and everything is good. Not great, but definitely not bad, and I appreciate how adventurous they are with their menu items.

Went here with my wife not long after it first opened. The place was crowded with way too many kids running around. Dreary cafeteria style atmosphere not appealing whatsoever for a brewery. We decided not to stay. According to their website Sloop brews about ten different IPAs. I saw one called West Coast IPA. So I decided to go back this past Sunday to try it. Also wanted to checkout their outdoor space, which was new since the first time I was there, thinking it may be a way to avoid the mayhem and rundown appearance of inside. The West Coast IPA is a misnomer. It tasted more like an American IPA with more of a NE style finish. Its best quality was that it is not hazy. I asked the bartender why they have so many IPAs but nothing truly west coast. She was not friendly at all, and proceeded to tell me, incorrectly, that it was a genuine west coast style and that the only difference is in the malt. Obviously she doesn’t know IPAs. West coast style is considerably more hoppy and bitter, which this clearly was not. I have had their flagship juice bomb a few times. It, as well as other NE/hazy style beers, are really just a novelty for people who regularly drink real IPA. They appeal mostly to people who don’t like beer in general. The outdoor space consisted of some picnic tables under a pavilion between two large parking lots, leaving much to be desired. East Fishkill is a family oriented area. I can see Sloop doing well catering to that clientele. But there are too many breweries around today for me to waste my money at this place. And for someone who is a real IPA connoisseur, Sloop is a big let down. Gave one star only because zero is not an option. I won’t be back.
