I couldn’t believe my tastebuds. If you told me that the best pizza I would ever taste was in the pan handle of Idaho, I would have laughed at you, yet here we are! I ordered the most seemingly bizarre pizza on the menu, the Thai Chicken pizza, and I was floored by the quality, and rich flavors. To break it down, the crust was perfectly thin, and just-right crunch. The cheese was stretchy and plentiful, and very very tasty. The toppings were clearly fresh, and cooked to perfection, and the fresh vegetables were crisp and not overly softened by the hot pizza by the time it arrived at my table. It was bliss. While eating, the staff was very attentive and I saw them delivering even more impressive dishes and entrees around the restaurant with big smiles. One of them was carrying an absolute UNIT of a pretzel hanging on a huge hook standing it up on the table. It was mouth-watering. All this and a glass of self serve wine? They had a really cool self service wine draft in the middle of the dining room, that was a total showcase. Do not pass Wallace if you’re traveling through the silver valley, cause you need to try the Fainting Goat.

Great spot in Wallace! Was able to order a vegan meal, with the hummus and the veggie pizza minus the goat cheese. The hummus is house-made and tasty. Pizzas are personal size, maybe with some leftover if you’re not super hungry. The patio is really nice, backing up to the greenery on the hillside. The building itself is neat, and looks to be a former bank from the old days. They allow dogs on the patio, for good or bad, depending on your preferences. The huckleberry lemonade, a cocktail with vodka, was very good and on the strong side. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

We had dinner on 7/8/23. Just happened to be heading West and need a place to spend the night & ended up in Wallace. What a gem. The wife had a couple different wines while drank a local IPA from Wallace brewing. Service was excellent. We had the French Onion soup, 1/2 Ceasar salads Caprese appetizers.

Excellent pizza! I had the Thai chicken pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Highly recommend it. Cute place, lots of wines and beers to choose from. The guy that sat us at our table was great, but our server wasn’t friendly at all. We felt like we were bothering her. Not sure of her name but the receipt said “McKenzie”. Not sure if she was having a bad day or not feeling well but it was very awkward with her. Otherwise, great place, great atmosphere and food. Will go back.

Over the course of a weekend we ate dinner twice and came in for wine. Everything was top notch from service, food, cleanliness, and friendliness of staff. It was the first time we had come across the self-serve wine dispensers. That was worth the trip to test it out. Items we ordered that were excellent and we would again were the pizzas (GOAT and Margherita), Mac n Cheese, French Onion Soup, Brushetta, and all of the salads. Great atmosphere and we felt welcome each time we visited.

My husband and I stopped in around 4:00 to have a beer and appetizers after our mine tour. For appetizers, we had the chicken wings (you get 6 wings with chose of sauce/dry rub for $15.99) and bison sliders (3 sliders with added cheese – $1.99 extra – and onion straws for $16.99). They were both very good but a little pricey. I was going to get some wine – my choice would have been $12 a glass….I’ll drink beer for $5. Overall, the atmosphere was wonderful, food was delicious, and the service was amazing. Staff was attentive and polite.

We had a large group and everyone loved the food. Salad, pizza, and panini were all fantastic. Kids loved the chirp dessert. The ability to easily sample various wines by yourself was a fun addition. Would recommend for anyone in town. Service was great with our group and very friendly. Out door patio was also nice.

Nice eatery in Wallace. The atmosphere was great. We had a lovely bottle of Huckleberry Blush local to the region. Our appetizer was superb – fried mozzarella with a basalmic reduction, pesto, and marinara as dipping choices. Each one was a taste treat. Our entree was the baked ziti. This alone could have been a great dish, but ours was watery and lacking the flavor it could have had. When the waitress asked, we were honest. The manager came to visit our table and apologized for that, thanking us for bringing it to their attention. I look forward to another visit when next we visit the area.

The Fainting Goat is, in my opinion, the BEST restaurant in Wallace, ID! I tried many of their dishes and they were ALL fantastic! From the brick oven pizzas, to their soups, Cajun pasta, fried pickle spears and even their onion rings, you absolutely cannot go wrong picking anything off their menu! The owner, Drew, and his staff, consisting of his wife, his sons, who are both wait staff and cooks, to his dedicated servers, Amy, Kinsey and Sharon, among others, make this a fun, inviting and welcoming atmosphere!

I stayed in Wallace as part of my road trip and stumbled upon this restaurant by luck. The staff was very Friendly and attentive. There was a young man working and he spent sometime engaging in conversation, which I really appreciated as I got to learn more about the town life. The food itself was terrific both in flavor and quality. If you are looking for a laid back meal, this place will not let you down!
