This was a impromptu stop on our road trip driving home! We enjoyed our veggie flatbread in Pocahontas, Illinois at The Fainting Goat. The flatbread was delicious! Our waitress was friendly and efficient. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. #bucketlist

Excellent service and excellent food. This is more than just a tavern with food. This is a foodie spot with a tavern. Everyone was very friendly and the food selection is outstanding. I had the French dip, which was recommended by 3 people in the restaurant. Very tender and juicy. The Cajun coleslaw was excellent. Very lite with a nice spice at the end. I will be back to try other choices on the menu.

This is my boyfriend’s and my favorite restaurant! We go here quite frequently and have never been disappointed. The food is always spectacular and almost always, the chef comes out to ask for honest feedback on each dish (unless it’s packed and he is understandably busy as heck in the back!). Best food around the area!

Wow ! Walked in on Jam Session pleasant surprise! Got a couple of drinks and food was very delicious. Fettuccine Alfredo, Fantastic Hamburger and Pull Pork. Great chef and the service great! Will go back again next time through!

Really nice people, but I ordered stake &fries,my fries we 2 or 3 hrs old,and I really like fries with my steak, 40 bucks plus tip and I got it to go, please serve the food you wanna eat, easy as that! If you are gonna serve less than perfect food! Don’t ask for the hole amount!! This was 3/23/23 about 3 pm.
