Great little family restaurant. Clean and friendly staff and quick turn around. Mashed potatoes were yummy. Walleye was delicious. Granddaughter finished all her spaghetti. Hot turkey sandwich was made with real slices Turku (not pressed meat). I bet this is the place to go for breakfast for locals.

This is a great brunch spot if you like that small town feel. The food was delicious – one of the best breakfasts I’ve had from a restaurant! I had pancakes and scrambled eggs, and everything was fresh and made from scratch. The staff was very friendly and kind. I would come back again and again!

If you like the experience of the family setting, you’ll want to visit this wonderful restaurants. They really take you in and make you a member of the family. Their food is the best we had in Escanaba so far, and we have tried many good restaurants this week, but we really enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant. Stop by see for yourself, breakfast lunch and dinner.

Perch plate is great. Do not get the cod, stick to the French fries, and stay away from the American fries. Over all great place but kinda a gap in overall quality in the meal with the table.

This place is AWESOME, family style with Great food, wonderful prices,large portions. It’s a classy place to get a great meal. Staff was very friendly and efficient. I will be coming back and everytime I’m hungry I’ll be thinking back to a great experience at The Family Inn.

Our waitress was fantastic! I brought my 5 kids here ages 6-11. The food was great and definitely would come back and I definitely recommend. The only thing I have to say is they do need more help. Other than that if you get a chance to stop in definitively do so!
