From the moment you walk in you know it’s going to be an experience. The woman who seated us was very helpful well versed on the menu. Kaylee was our waitress and she was fantastic especially with the little things. Thank you. My husband got the Cali sandwich. It was wonderful. I got the 1/2 fish and chips. The fish was perfect and the fries were the best in the csra! The salad I received was balsamic dressing. A lot thicker than expected! Very good to the last lettuce leaf. I’ll be back again soon.

The Feed Sack’s second location located off I-20’s Exit 5. When ya see Walmart turn in , there is a small strip of stores on the left side. That’s where you’ll find it.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt very inviting and warm. It feels like you’re sitting in someone’s dining room. The decor here is very well done and it wasn’t too dark. DJ, our server, provided excellent service and we enjoyed talking with him. Appetizer was fried pickles with cajun ranch dipping sauce – not too spicy at all so this was so good! The breading to pickle ratio was perfect. Main entrees were Citrius-soy glazed Salmon with Brussels sprouts/carrots/snap peas/and shallot stir fry over jasmine rice, 7 oz C.A.B. filet with black pepper bourbon caramelized garlic compound butter with Yukon gold and baby sweet fingerling potatoes, and finally the Feed Sack Prime Rib – house marinated and smoked 14 oz prime rib with whipped potatoes, garlic butter broccoli/au jus/horse radish cream…sooo good!

The atmosphere is cozy and the seating is comfortable. Our waitress, Emma, was amazing–our drinks were never empty and she brought sharing plates without us even having to ask. The food is literally the best I’ve had in this area; the fries with a side of Cajun ranch–best fries I’ve ever had in my life. If you haven’t tried this place, treat yourself and go. You won’t regret it.

First, I’ll preface this with saying that this review is very shortly after the opening of this second location. While I take this a little into account, it isn’t the first location…

Happy to have a new restaurant in the area. We were here for lunch on the second day of opening, so I’m sure they are still working out details as a new restaurant. Just a couple points on the suggestion side…

My partner and I came in for lunch. We’ve been to the one in Aiken and we were excited for the new location as it’s closer to our house.

I’m so glad to have a good restaurant in North Augusta finally . It wasn’t busy at all for opening night . I had the Feed Sack Burger it was really good . The fries had a lot of salt on them it was hard to eat them . My mom had the Shrimp and Grits. She said it was good but the grits were sweet tasting . Our server on the other hand wasn’t the best. She had an attitude and threw the menu at us when we wanted to see the dessert menu and when we asked what did they had for that day . She got an attitude . When she came back to the table to give us our check she threw it on the table and the pen . The managers on floor were super super nice and the server that came to us when she notice how our server was acting she came in to help us out . The atmoshere was nice and the restaurant was very clean . I will be coming back for sure .

If you want a very nice, casual dinner. The feed sack is definitely the place to go. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are super friendly and smiling faces as soon as you walk in the door. I’ve been there lunch and dinner and get the best quality service each time. The live music at night is definitely beautiful. They have a wide selection of wines. You can even buy your own personal bottle for home. The food is prepared by an awesome kitchen staff who definitely know what they are doing. I’ve had the filet and it’s perfect cooked to temperature and seasoned well. (For my dinner) The Brussel sprouts are delicious as well. They are a good sharing size if you go with a group of people or your family. The Ruben was delicious. I had that for lunch today. With a side of fries and in my option they didn’t taste salty at all. The bar is spot on with their old fashions (they even have the option of smoking them, definitely worth trying). If you want something with a sweet flavor the lavender lemon drop martini is also a great option. The bourbon glazed bread pudding is definitely worth trying probably my favorite desert I’ve had in a long time. It’s a shareable size. It’s going to do so well in North Augusta. Please go out and try it ☺️

First the positive, food was very good and portions were generous. Now for the unfortunate negative: absolutely slow, awful service. It’s a real shame because I really enjoyed the food, but it just should not take 2 hours for lunch from sit down to paying for the meal – even with spending just 15 minutes to actually eat the food. I might hold off coming back until their system gets figured out.
