The food at The Field is beyond delicious. I have always enjoyed everything that I ordered. My only draw backs that I have encountered here is that sometimes they have a massively long wait and you cannot make reservations, and that sometimes it’s really loud in the restaurant so it’s hard to hear the people at your table. But the servers always have a wonderful attitude and are friendly, they are happy to make recommendations, the food presentation is always beautiful, and it tastes amazing! I highly recommend trying the milkshakes and the pretzel appetizer. All the burgers are amazing!

Nice restaurant with great burgers on the list. I went there on a Sunday evening and it was busy. Food took more than 45 minutes which i wasnt ready for, I had to cancel the plans for the evening. I ordered a chicken burger for to-go, when I came back home it wasn’t a chicken burger, even though I’ve confirmed! Not sure what went wrong. My handheld was good, not sure why I didn’t enjoy my visit, not a very welcoming environment me, mostly was ignored on the bar. I dont like that feeling.

Place was very busy for a Friday night. Seated within 30 mins. Order of seating was not by order of 1st come. Bigger parties seated 1st. Food was very salty. Salad was overdressed. Chips tasted burnt. Appetizers were the highlight of the meal. Pretzel was fresh baked and soft, however it was coated with lots of salt. Sweet butter counterbalanced some of the pretzel salt. Cheese sauce was runny. Poutine for the table came to the table in a bucket and poured on to parchment paper accompanied by a carafe of gravy. Nice idea, enough to serve 4 to 6 ppl. Very heavy with 1 note of flavor. Burgers were typical. Presentation pushed the food to 4 stars. Service met expectations. Casual dress is appropriate for the atmosphere. Reasonable prices, average $35 pp, without drinks.

Loved the Ambience when reached. Had to wait 25 mins to be seated. It seemed very popular! Loved the food. Burgers are not my favorites so I did not order one but my friends had bean Burger and Fish Burger. The bean one I tasted the bean patty. It was good. I loved the bun!! Caramel Slated Milkshake was okay. I should have tried other options for milkshake. Service was awesome!! Overally food is Average to good and good for friendly get together. Items are not pricy… So, I belive within affordability this is a good place to spend some time with good food.

Absolutely recommend. Was just passing through and this place was recommended my alumni friends. A bit of a drive from campus area but the burger was totally worth it. Cooked perfectly and very flavorful. With fries of course!

Incredible food. The poutine fries were delicious and we had to pace ourselves to save room for the main meal. The burgers were also to die for. I highly recommend you get a burger with bacon on it. It was the best bacon I have ever eaten. My parents split their burger and it was more than enough food for both of them

Found this place because I searched best burgers in State College area.. and gosh are they right!!! Celebrated my friend’s birthday here and it was a hit! Parmesan truffle fries are the best! I had their burger with bacon & perigees on it! Wow! So delicious! We also tried the loaded fries/nachos for an appetizer- wow! Their potato chips loaded with pulled pork, cheese, bananas peppers…. So GOOD! My friend got a free hand spun milkshake of her choice on the house because it was her birthday! Classic peanut butter shake, and Hard S’more shake! So delicious!!

I had a business dinner here in the evening and enjoyed breakfast the next day. The breakfast was one of the best I’d had. The omelette had fresh vegetables inside. The toast was a hearty grainy wheat bread. My server was lovely.
