I googled best clam chowder near me, this is what came up. I wouldn’t say it was the best, but it was yummy! Service was great, they were busy. Hubby had a blue cheese burger, he said it was awesome. We would definitely return.

Unexpected surprise. Fantastic fish and chips, among best in my experience. French dip surpassed most, onions just right, bread held together. However…service was actually perfect except when food slid off plate she picked up with bare hand off table and back on my plate. Servers also bus and then serve on return. Not possible to wash in time out of sight. Suggest gloves for serving? Table was not very well cleaned either.

Drove all the way from Eugene 65 miles arrived at 7:40 PM. Staff told me they’re closed. The sign on the door says closed at 8 PM. Be understandable if the restaurant was full, but there was two tables taken and it was on a Thursday evening.The restaurant was basically empty. All we wanted was chowder easy fix. Pretty disappointed to drive all that way just to eat there .

This place is seriously amazing! I got the garlic fries and the BBQ burger, both very good, I recommend the onion rings because those are good, and the clam chowder is some good stuff!!!! Their lemonade is light in flavor but it’s decent! Could use some more flavor, they have a clean place and clean bathrooms.

I called in an order for a sandwich and fries and it was ready on time, fresh, and packed generously with three big napkins and two sauces of my choice. The woman who answered my call was cheerful and efficient. I felt welcome even though there was less than 1 hour to closing time. The food was good. I expected to love the sandwich but it was just average. The real star of the show was the garlic fries! I dipped them in a mix of ranch and bbq and just about passed out from the joyous burst of flavors.

The clam chowder that we got was NOT clam chowder…… it tasted like potato soup which is good but that is not what we ordered. There were no clams whatsoever but there were chunks of ham and uncooked bacon fat which I mistaked for a clam at first but then was unpleasantly surprised. We have been to this place many times for the clam chowder and have always been happy but this time was a complete let down.

Once again we stopped in at our favorite Florence restaurant for lunch and one again it was excellent! Had a cocktail, and I had a Rubin and a cup of wonderful chowder, my friend had the chowder and a crab sandwich. It was delicious, such amazing chowder! I try Rubins at most places and, while New Your delis might be more traditional, this one was yummy! Ill be going back for sure. The service was excellent, always a smile! It was busy, yet everything came quickly. Thanks!

The best restaurant food we’ve had in a long time. We came for lunch on a Monday, the service and food was excellent. Had the deluxe seafood chowder and fish n’chips. Very good!! Can’t believe this place doesn’t have a higher rating on Google reviews! Would come back to Florence just for this chowder.
