Fish fry from a place that’s called Fish Cove should be able to meet at least average to above average on their Fish fry, aside from being cheap, their fish fry appeared to be straight from Van Camps freezer heat and eat variety… not a good comparison if you’ve ever had the latter, I don’t need to tell you that’s poor company. Not sure if I’ll take a second look for fear of lightning striking in the same place twice. Not when Long John Silvers has it for way less.

An Eastwood staple! Been getting fish sammiches here since they were over on the end of the strip there in the late 70’s or early 80’s. You won’t find mac salad like theirs anywhere. Must be a secret recipe! The shrimp, scallops, and clams are all great. Always fresh and perfectly cooked and the breading is exceptional. Chow down!

Speaking only on behalf of the food as someone else picked it up, but the value of a fish sandwich and fries cannot be beat from here. Yes it is cash only, but the inconvenience is worth the food honestly.

I was just at fish cove. I worked for Joe as a teenager. When I went in people behind me get served. I told people outside go to Cjs on Teall Ave and the went with me. Great service Joe. Glad you don’t care. As you can see they don’t care. They don’t respond to any post at all.

The food is good but the atmosphere is fast paced and hurried. the old men serving the food and taking your orders are rude and hurried so be prepared especially on a Friday. The fish sandwiches are small but cheaper than a whole piece of fish. They basically cut a piece of haddock in half for their fish sandwiches. the big pieces can be pricey. I love their fries though. they are on the pricey side in their new Shop City location. and they take cash ONLY which is also very inconvenient . There is an ATM inside though. The place is grab and go FYI. There is no dinning area.

The Fish Cove has been around for years but the food and service are just as good as it was on day one. Joe and his staff are helpful, efficient and even amusing at times, as you wait for your order. They love what they do and it shows! My usual fare is a piece of Haddock, fried mushrooms and Mac salad. The fish and mushrooms are lightly battered, fried to perfection and never greasy. The Mac salad is one of my faves with just a touch of sweetness that pairs well with the mayo and carrots. The menu has far more on it and they also do offer baked fish that is tender and flaky but without the added calories from being fried. If you love fish this is the place to go! Just be warned that Friday’s, especially during Lent, are super busy. Even so, the staff gets you and your order out quickly. Just a reminder that the restaurant accepts cash only but there is an ATM inside as well as several banks surrounding the area to get cash from.

Fish Cove is the go to place for hot fish “Delishness” on overload. The salads, not sure of the baked beans, but the cold slaw is definitely good. Remember the go to place for the best fish ever.

A great traditional fish fry place especially for those that keep up the tradition of Fish Fry Friday. Always great fresh haddock from the fryer . They also will deep fry clam strips, scallops, calamari, shrimp, smelt, mushrooms, and zucchini. They also have on hand a nice baked haddock for those who are avoiding fried foods. There’s also french fries and onion rings done up fresh. And their baked beans have a taste unique to this proprietor. Even on their crowded Fridays, they keep the line moving and you’ll be out of there in less time than most fast food places.

I love this new spot they moved into. Lots more room. Though I wish they had enough space for sitdown dining.
