This was my first visit and i had a great experience. The food is hot and fresh with a good seasoning mix. The sides were well seasoned and flavorful. My goodness the hush puppies are so delicious, order extra!Pricing is fair for the area and quality of food. Customer service was great the owner/workers were very polite. Food came out in a timely manner (10-15 minutes). There’s nothing better than supporting a black owned business with wonderful food I wish them nothing but success!

I went here for the 1st time yesterday (a coworker told me about this place). The service was excellent and the food exceptional !! I also took a friend with me visiting from VA and she loved her catfish and collard greens. My trout, cabbage and okra was amazing! I’m definitely going back.

This is my second time coming here and I can honestly say this is my new favorite seafood spot! Fresh food, quick and friendly service, and AMAZING southern/home cooked food. I ordered about $70 worth of food here for my family last night. It was worth every penny. We ordered shrimp, fries, catfish, chicken tenders, yams, collards, hush puppies and corn nuggets. Everything was delicious from start to finish. Nothing was over or under seasoned, fried perfectly, flavors complimented each other terrifically. The serving size was more than enough for left overs. You will not be disappointed at all ordering from here. The customer service was welcoming and professional. I will be ordering from here again very soon. I was so excited to eat everything I didn’t take a picture before I smashed my food.

I came here with my motorcycle club for the first time. The area looks friendly, safe, and clean. The staff are VERY professional, serve us on time, keep our drinks fill, and was very knowledgeable on their menu. The food taste outstanding. The food remains you of your mom’s or grandma’s cooking. It, also, reminds you of a outdoor cookout with it comes to the fish.

As much as I love to support black businesses. My first experience will probably be the last. I did not like anything on the plate and neither did my family. The food was overly greasy and the flavors were lacking. We could NOT stomach it. It’s like the food came from a can and frozen for extended periods of time prior to cooking.

Update: Today’s visit was disappointing. I went in around 4:30 slightly after they reopened for dinner service, I ordered catfish, cabbage, and mac and cheese with banana pudding. My fish was rubbery, slimy, and undercooked. It had no crunch on the batter at all. The cabbage was okay and the mac was fine, no issues there. However, the banana pudding had a toothpick dropped in it and I instantly got annoyed all I could think of was someone having a toothpick in their mouth while fixing the pudding and it dropped inside of it. There’s no reason for a toothpick to be in the banana pudding that I am aware of so this was very gross and off putting. I am disappointed after this visit. It took me 20 minutes and $20 for this dissatisfaction of today’s visit.

Loved my plate! I ordered the 2 way plate with shrimp & catfish, greens and corn nuggets for the sides and it comes with hush puppies. More than enough food for one person. The service was great and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be back!
