I wish I could give them a 10 for service. I came in very late but my server got my order in on time. She came back and made sure I had water and was okay. This is a Black Canvas night, which means live music and standing room only. But she made me feel as if I was the only customer in the building. I sat on the patio and ENJOYED my catfish platter. It was good but the presentation was good plus. I was pleasantly surprised that the fish was fried hard. Yes!!!! I will definitely be back.

We patronized this place because it was black owned. We did not have reservations, but the hostess was extremely friendly and accommodating. However, after we placed our order, we waited almost an hour for our food . The food was good, but it wasn’t steaming hot after that wait. The waitress was amazing. She was very high energy and knowledgeable. When we finally received our food, she asked how everything was? Everyone one else said good, which it was, but I was extremely disappointed – long wait and the food was not hot . All drinks are served in plastic cups. Yeah, that’s a no for me because mimosas, champagne, etc. out of a plastic cup – I’ll pass. We spent over $150 for chicken & waffles and fish & rice. The bartenders were mixing up there punch and we were laughing at their interaction. So, she offered us a complimentary drink. So the servers and bartender were nice. It’s the wait with no explanation for me.

I found this spot on tik tok & I had to try it out. I’m glad I did, the food was tasty! I had the French toast breakfast with a side of breakfast potatoes. I also had a strawberry Hennessy lemonade. My waitress was amazing & friendly. The atmosphere was a vibe, it was a bit small, but it wasn’t cluttered. The brunch menu was really simple & straight to the point. Not to mention, the music topped it off! Great spot to hang and eat.

The atmosphere was really chill and welcoming. I love how they had a live band and singer during brunch hours. Strongly encourage reserving a table to avoid stand due to small venue. The food and drinks were good. Met the owner who was very personable and pleasant. He was open to constructive criticism. I wanted to give a lower rating but I can see that this is a growing business, which need room for making changes as they are expanding. The waitress could definitely improve because it took hours to order food. It was due to the kitchen being open at a certain time. I do recommend checking hours of operation to know when brunch is over and food is serve etc. I will definitely give this black owned business another visit.

It’s a whole vibe on Gospel Brunch Sundays!!!!! The chicken was fried extremely too hard, so wasn’t able to enjoy the loaded waffle sandwich much. The bone-in wings & catfish were fried well, though!

Dropped in for a quick drink and a meal! The fried fish is amazing! It was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. Waitress Janae was excellent! Drinks were good.

2 stars is me being generous. As much as I love to support black owned business this ain’t it. The staff is full of young kids who have no understanding of what real customer service is. The food is very basic and overpriced. They serve you on cafeteria plates with plastic utensils. The ambience is mediocre and the music is way too loud. You have to yell just to hear others. Also the menu prices are wrong. When we asked why our ticket price was changing us more than what was on the menu they said they hadn’t had a chance to update the menu and expected that we pay the ticket price instead of what showed on the menu. As if, it was our fault that they hadn’t had the chance to update the menu. I do not recommend.

We had a reservation for brunch. We were sit in the back which didn’t seem like the “it” place to be, but it was cool. It took 20 minutes before someone noticed to take our order. Once we actually were engaged the waiters were extremely nice. The catfish was 8/10, loaded waffle 6/10. The mimosas was light skin, which is a plus 10/10. Dj was playing music 5/10 hookah available.

Great brunch spot. We went on a Sunday, they had a live band but due to not having a reservation we were seated in a completely separate area. The waitresses were nice but I had to pay for each shot I ordered when I ordered it. I thought it was just me but I noticed her doing it to a few others, I’m guessing they have trouble with people dining and dashing on them. Overall, it’s a cool and reasonably priced spot. I’ll go back.

I really try to support BOB, which is why we chose this spot for Sunday brunch.
