This is a new black owned business by Chef Bigggz and he’s doing an amazing job so far. The food is extremely flavorful. As soon as you walk in you’ll notice the black and orange decor. It’s a to go restaurant but the the inside is still aesthetically pleasing. I got three meals to try for the first time and two drinks. I got the jerk chicken wings, it comes with fries. The wings are so good, they don’t need a dipping sauce. Fries had a decent crunch to them too. I also got Lamb Chops along with mash potatoes and corn. He gives you a whole corn cut in two sections topped with a garlic butter that is delicious. Ten out of ten, strongly recommended. Also tried the garlic butter chicken with coconut rice and broccoli. The broccoli was cooked perfectly. I’m definitely gonna come back to try the rest of the menu because he’s doing a great job so far.

I don’t understand the few low ratings because this place BOMB and it’s evident that chef Bigggz is passionate about his food!! I ordered the maple glazed salmon paired with Thai chili shrimp and my sides were coconut jasmine rice and mac. My friends had wings and jerk lamb pasta and they loved it. I’ve tried many many salmon dishes and this by far was THE best I’ve ever had and I’m sad that no other place compares back in my hometown so I’ll be back for sure! The atmosphere was very hip and inviting. I could ramble on on about how GREAT this place is but go see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!

I loveeeee EVERYTHING about this restaurant! (Been here an handful of times since the opening, my new go to for quality food, quick bites & Taco Tuesday) Ambiance is welcoming from when you walk in. The staff is friendly and very helpful when ordering. Food is full of Flava in every bite. One order could serve up to 2 people. I also tried The Blue Velvet cake, which was very moist, cake slice was thick (fills the container). The owner who also came out to greet guests inside, he was beyond personable, sweet and accommodating! Food was steamy hot , with utensils ready to be devoured. Don’t forget to try one of the lemonades, you can tell it was made with real fruit.

First timer at The Flava Zone and everything was amazing! Everything was great from the service to the food quality & portion sizes! Today I tried out the shrimp pasta, chicken tenders w/ fries, a side of Mac & Cheese, and Garlic Butter Corn! Great experience and the best of luck to the head chef and owner Chef B!

We ordered the shrimp pasta (w/ extra shrimp), chicken pasta and 2 lemonades – came up to $74!! The wait time was longer than the 25-30 minutes quoted, but that was okay. I will say that service was great, very friendly young women and they answered all of our questions and even made suggestions. The food was pretty tasty, everything was flavorful. The tropical lemonade was really good, but the pink lemonade was just okay. Overall, I’d try it again, as I want to taste more things.

We ordered the lobster pasta, garlic butter chicken, coconut rice, 5 cheese macaroni, salmon, mashed potatoes, the brownie, and both flavors of the juice. I understand that the restaurant is fairly new and the Chef is still learning. I’m so happy for him and his team. Now as far as the food goes, it was lacking authentic flavor ( in my opinion). The macaroni had a burnt coal aftertaste, I don’t think the coconut rice paired well with the garlic butter chicken, and the pasta was very bland, the juices were good, and the brownie was decent (a little too hard). Also, (this is TMI) adding parsley and Parmesan on top is everything is not gut healthy nor needed. My boyfriend and I had serious stomach problems after eating this. We eat cheese on a regular so that was very abnormal for us. I saw that they have a different menu on Tuesdays which I wouldn’t be opposed to trying but I will be skeptical because of our initial experience. Again, I hope this restaurant can take this and make the necessary adjustments as I do wish them all the success.

I ordered the Jerk Lamb Chops Pasta and it was delicious. The lamb was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The Blue Velvet Cake is staple desert item very moist and not overly sweet.

Great good even better service. You’re greeted with smiling faces the moment you walk in the door. The chef is very nice. The store just recently introduced specials for the summer. I love the freshness of the food! Will definitely return to try more items on the menu.
