Mar’22: Hooray!!! Wake up Chapel Hill— its no longer just @Cameron Village. Everybody knows NC for biscuits, but how about upping the ante w/cran-apple butter? I don’t even feel guilty after indulging in many a chicken sage sausage patty. Over easy eggs were perfect. My Chai Latte had an awesome dash of cinnamon, and perfectly tempered.

Service and food was amazing! All of the food was very fresh and Natalie did a good job in making sure my first visit spectacular! Portions were ridiculously large. One thing though, why no fried chicken biscuits?! If you are going to have a business built around biscuits and buttermilk fried chicken, where’s the chicken biscuit? When we first got here they offered water for our little one, already a plus in my book. Food was delightful. Waffles fluffy and packed with GA peaches. Eggs are kind a basic. Grits blew my mind thou! The white cheddar cheese was delicious. Decent endless coffee. Chicken sausage is on point. Biscuits are beyond perfect. They have those down pat! We had a wonderful waiter Amber. P. She had the drinks out fast and our order was out in a very timely manner. Never ran out of sweet tea, water or coffee.

Whoa. This place is legit. My husband suggested it for brunch today, and I had never heard of it. I ordered the three amigos tacos with a side of grits instead of potatoes. The tacos were incredible, and the portion size is so big that I can’t even finish my food. The grits are the best I’ve ever had, and I’m a native southerner. The service was also great. Amber took care of it and was so pleasant and accommodating. I love it when people actually seem to enjoy their jobs. We will certainly become regulars of this spot.

We aimed for brunch, got there closer to lunchtime on a Friday. It was pretty crowded but folks cleared out quickly. Lots of places to sit; a bright, cheery place at the University Place Mall. Plenty of parking.

The atmosphere is fun and vibrant. The food is amazing. I’m not usually a fan of grits, but theirs are fluffy and flavorful! The biscuits and apple butter are fabulous, and the chicken sausage is savory and delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially Amber.
