The poutine here is legit! The classic is perfect, just give it a good mix to get that hit gravy pouring over the most amazing curds and fries and you will be in heaven. Not only that, but the most polite and friendly staff and atmosphere puts it over the top. This is an all around 5 star experience!

We are big fans of poutine and this place nails it. Fries, gravy and curds are all spot on! Tried the classic, the Montreal and the CBR. Lots of great flavor in all of them.

We were going to try wings next door, but my husband was appalled at the prices. I suggested we look at what else was nearby, and realized to my shock that Flying V sold Canadian cuisine, especially poutine. I have eaten the real thing half a dozen times. I was really impressed. My husband got traditional poutine – which was stellar – and I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan poutine, with cashew cheese. I wouldn’t have believed it possible, and it was way better than my mainstay off Bloor Street in T.O. (a very sketchy Harvey’s). It was rich enough for me to get three meals out of. And the staff was very, very friendly. Not remotely hosers. My one request is that they consider making a sugar maple pie.

We came for the music – jazz on a Thursday night. Amazing food was a plus. The smoked meats sandwich was awesome, and the poutine was perfectly done.

I loveee poutine! I visited the Flying V and immediately fell in love. Fries are always hot, cheese curds are so yummy. The popcorn chicken poutine is so good. The gravy is always the best. The braised short rib was also phenomenal. If I want poutine this is the only place I’m buying!

This hands down are the best poutine fries I ever had. I need to visit there spot in bethlehem to try other stuff. I got the buffalo fries and they were delicious with chicken on them and cheese curds. The portion size is big and very filling.

The greatest place for comfort food!! Many options to choose from including vegetarian and gluten free items. All of the poutine gravy is GF, which is an added bonus! Matt & Christie are some of the nicest and most generous people around and make this restaurant feel like home.

How do I say this? The Flying V is a great restaurant. The classic poutine had crispy fries with cheese curds and warm gravy, and the Montreal smoked meat sandwich was very flavorful with some of the best smoked meat I’ve had. The live entertainment added to the already chill and themed vibe, which only added to the whole experience. The only issue I had was the price, which may be steep but the portions are good.
