Had dinner there. Had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Very good flavor with thick cut slightly smoky beef. Horseradish sauce was great. The cheese came on the side and was a bit cold and thick. Should be really hot. The bread was fresh and warm. Menu is limited but good side choices for vegetables. Fries were good too. Reasonable prices and friendly service.

A 5 star flavor and service in a small town atmosphere. The deer in the parking lot and the mashed potatoes with pork belly were best I have ever had. Service was friendly and yet not pushy. The chocolate cake with strawberry compoteband the mushroom farrow blew me away. Highly recommend. I would drive back for the food.

The Dill Wings are the best wings I’ve ever eaten. Unique flavor, crispy, meaty, fabulous. The sweet potato soup was rich and flavorful. The crispy bits of bacon put it over the top. Add attentive and friendly service to the amazing food and it was a dining experience I would drive to Meeker to do again.

We had a great dinner! Very original and interesting food pairings. Food was plated gorgeously and everything was incredibly fresh. Very impressed when my steak actually came out medium rare, as it’s “rare” to find a place that can cook steak exactly how it’s ordered. The enchilada fries are to die for!

Was a delightful surprise to find a place like this in a small town- beautifully presented and tasty food. The portions were perfect and the prices quite reasonable; felt like I was in a nice farm-to-table restaurant in a large city, but cozier since the servers knew the locals by name. Alcohol selection was also decent.

I ordered chicken brined in cider with Brussel sprouts covered in red sauce with garlic Aouli. I wish i lived close to eat this more often. Service was also very good. We showed up closer to closing and tried to rush, but were out the door 5 minutes after close. No one mentioned it or hurried us at all. Great place

Food and service were top notch. Very small restaurant in a very small town equals big time service and quality food. Was in town for 4 days, ate there three times. Highly recommend.

Coming from Denver I was surprised to find a place such as the fork in a small town like Meeker. We tried to go Friday night but they seem to have an ongoing plumbing issue that popped up and kept the restaurant closed. We came back Saturday and were very pleased with the food. I hope that they continue to do well so that we can come back when we are back this way next year.

The waitstaff at the Fork is very friendly and kind. Yet, they seem to be extremely inexperienced. There have been multiple instances where our waitress has had to come back to ask us what we had ordered. Sometimes this question comes well after we have been served the drinks or food. As a former waitress, I find it very strange that they do not ring in food or drink orders immediately after they are taken. There have also been many instances where the busser or waitress has tried to take an unfinished drink or dish off of the table. Or the busser will interrupt our conversation to ask if we are done eating a half eaten plate. None of the dining etiquette rules are noticed by the waitstaff. Additionally, every time we order drinks here they come out looking and tasting different. We have been told by a waitress, “sorry the bartender just told me she forgot to add simple syrup to your drinks, hope they tasted ok”. I told her it was ok but I thought to myself, those drinks do not call for simple syrup. Very unfortunate that the most “upscale” restaurant in Meeker has not done their due diligence to train their waitstaff properly. Despite these shortcomings, we have continued to dine here because the food is very good and to be honest, there aren’t many options in meeker. The straw that finally broke the camel’s back for us came this last Friday. We stopped by for our usual poorly made cosmopolitans and food. We ordered our dessert with the check. The tab was $174. We decided to stick around and have a few more drinks. We ended up having two more cocktails each (a total of 4 more drinks). We stuck around because we were chatting with one of the servers, Laurie. She clocked out and came to our table with a drink so we could continue chatting. I told her that I wanted to buy her drink, she informed me that that was not necessary because her drink came from “what was leftover from your two drinks that had just been poured”. Hmmm that’s pretty strange, at any other restaurant or bar they measure everything so that there aren’t any extras. Made me wonder how much alcohol they waste every time they make a drink because they don’t measure anything. I also learned that night that they do not use triple sec or Cointreau when making our cosmopolitans, they use orange juice. No wonder our drinks always tasted weird and watered down. Anyways, we drink our two drinks each and ask for the check. When we receive our check there is an extra $100 on the tab. We told the waitress there is no way we just had an additional 5 drinks each. She told us we were wrong and went to get one of the owners from the back. He approached us very aggressively and informed us that we drank an entire bottle of gin so we definitely had that many drinks. Yet again I was dumbfounded, they had been making our cosmopolitans with gin?Cosmopolitans are made with vodka. No wonder they never tasted right. I believe that the entire bottle was used because their bartenders do no measure anything out. Which explains why the drinks are always a different shade of pink and why they taste different every single time we order one. I felt extremely uncomfortable with how aggressive Colin (the owner) was, so I paid the tab and left a 20% tip on the incorrect tab. If they truly served us 10 drinks each within a 4 hour time frame, that is extremely irresponsible and dangerous. I have done a lot of alcohol safety training courses as a waitress and we learn about the dangers and illegality of over serving patrons. If Colin truly believed we drank 10 drinks each he should have never let us walk out the door and drive home. If deep down he believes we drank that much, shame on him and shame on this establishment. I know we did not have 10 drinks each, the proof is in the first receipt we were delivered. If you decide to dine at the Fork, be sure to bring a notepad and pen and write down everything you order because their waitstaff cannot seem to keep it straight.

The Fork is the best high end restaurant in Meeker. The staff is very friendly and the food has exceeded many five star restaurants. I highly recommend it for visitors along with resident alike.
