Offered coffee tooany times when only one of our group was drinking it, and repeatedly said no thank you. For took too long, breakfast was not hot, and over cooked. Dreadful experience.

Fort Rockvale has always been a great place to stop and catch lunch or dinner or breakfast when you’re traveling down to Wyoming or up to Montana. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good meal with a homie atmosphere

We went here Superbowl Sunday around 12:30 PM. There were 3 tables of people in the bar and it still took us over 30 minutes to even get WATER much less drinks. The waitress/bartender spent the entire time hanging out at the cash register and not even looking at us. It took 45 minutes to get a drink. I’d like to add there was NO ONE at the bar, just 3 tables. She threw some menus at us and complained that “she was losing her voice.” Ok? Can we just get served? She was very rude and snapped “just a minute” when we asked to get a drink. I guess whatever was going on at the cash register was much more important than paying customers. Finally after almost 45 minutes we put in our food order and she disappeared again. The only reason I’m leaving one star is a nice cowboy gentleman came in to help out and he was actually being nice and making drinks. The cherry on top of this experience was when we FINALLY got our food we weren’t allowed to keep the salt and pepper shaker. My husband barely seasoned his food and Another staff member came over and just grabbed it off the table and said, “we need this for another table!” Do you only have one salt and pepper shaker to share with the whole restaurant??? What kind of place is this?? We will NEVER set foot in here again. This was the WORST customer service I’ve ever recieved. Learn from our mistake and spend your hard earned money somewhere that cares about their customers. Places nearby I would recommend would be Sid’s in Laurel and Frontier bar in Joliet. They care about their customers and the food is better to boot.

My family and I were disappointed with today’s service. We arrived at 11:30am to eat. We were told it would be an hour wait on our food. We waited 30 minutes before the waitress even took our order. Didn’t bring us any silverware, napkins or drinks. We had to ask multiple times for each. When we did receive silverware, none was wrapped in napkins like it has been in the past and what other tables had. She touched all of our silverware. We finally got our order at 1:30pm, 2 hours after we arrived. There were tables coming in after us that were done eating and leaving. We asked for to go boxes as our food came out. I understand being busy and taking care of orders as they come in, I feel like we were forgotten since we had a large party. Not sure if we will be back. Our service a month ago was amazing
