I wish I had taken pics of the from of the restaurant. But I thought the bathroom looked so cool. You have to go yourself and catch the vibe. I like the games in the back, made it seem like this place turns up when there are groups of friends around. The staff were welcoming and the restaurant was clean, from what I could see. The salad my friend had was huge, to me it’s shareable. I like to try new things but my go to is always the BLT!! My egg in the sandwich was over cooked but good. And I didn’t like the grilled tomato. After taking the tomato out the BLT was delicious I think the ranch dip was housemade, very dilly how I like it. The small fries were on point. Also ladies I think it very nice to put tampons in the bathroom, for someones emergency!! Thank you

The restaurant we wanted to go to had a long wait (during lunch hour) so we just looked around and we happened to walk-in to this restaurant and turned out to be really good. Since we are in downtown area of course there’s no private parking. Just metered parking and if you’re lucky may find a street parking. It looks like a bar from classic movie. The antique/tavern decor tells the history of this restaurant.

Ordered a takeout burger from this place for lunch. The burger was absolutely raw inside and completely inedible. I called to ask for a refund (I paid $18 for a burger I couldn’t even eat…) and was told the manager was out and would call back. I called back everyday for a week and kept getting told he was out or busy or had my number and would call. The least you can do if you serve raw meat to a patron is apologize and give a refund. 1 star merely for their response to the issue.

We stopped in at the beginning of happy hour, the staff was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Pacific avenue quesadilla and a raspberry mint martini since they were on the happy hour menu and it was delicious. My husband got the tachos and the orange old fashioned. The drink were a bit strong for me but I did get a martini, the infused alcohol was nice with the mint. it was so big we took most as leftovers. It’s a small place with large history and full of good food and nice people.

WOW … What a find this place is! Great service awesome drinks, great food! Haven’t had French onion soup in years and it was spectacular! Do not miss out on this place! The bar is super cool, all wood and from the late 1800’s .. stained glass and wood carvings really give this place a great look and feel.

We had a really nice waiter. We asked for his recommendation, took the fish tacos and the fried shrimp tacos. We asked what he thinks about the fried Mac and cheese, but decided not to take them. Later he surprised us with them and we loved it.

My husband and I tried this restaurant this evening for the first time and absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere with fast and friendly service. Our server Desiree, is an example of great customer care. She went above and beyond ensuring we had a great experience. Thanks Desiree! The food had great portions and was delicious! We will be returning soon. Definitely would recommend this place.
