The dirty fries are very good, but the egg was undercooked. The Brussels sprouts were overcooked. The Croque Madame sandwich (daily special) was good. The sauce is very buttery. The shrimp tacos need a sauce of some kind. The hamburgers are very good, but one was cooked to medium and was cooked well done (they didn’t ask how we wanted them cooked). The wedge salads are big with two wedges. The outdoor seating is idyllic, especially since we were sitting close to the small waterfall.

In the spirit of anticipation, tonight I ventured into The Foundry Grill, with seven guests in tow, hoping that its new menu would live up to my fond memories. Came August 17th for a birthday dinner and service was absolutely terrible. I genuinely do not have words. Our food came out (including appetizers) an hour and a half late. Our waiter gave absolutely no communication while we waited. We left a $20 tip and the waiter added an extra 0 and gave a $200 tip to themselves. The food and atmosphere was fine, although our steak was cold? I have been a local here, along with many family and friends, for a few years now and never had an issue. This past Thursday was genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It was truly a bummer to celebrate a birthday under these circumstances so I truly hope they can fix this issue for others in the future.

The halibut I cooked Saturday night was better than theirs. Theirs was dry and overcooked. The steak was too thinly cut and had no flavor. I asked for rare and got medium. The trout dish was cooked OK but the trout itself tasted older like it wasn’t a fresh catch. The shrimp pasta dish also had a very strong fish flavor as if the shrimp wasn’t fresh (I grew up in Florida fishing and eating seafood, I know my fish and seafood). The Brussel sprouts appetizer was great and the bread was good. Their Mountain Cooler drink wasn’t bad either. Overall the food presentation was good but lacked flavor or the food didn’t taste fresh.

Had a wonderful meal at the Foundry Grill while we were waiting for our room at Sundance to be ready. The food, rustic decor, and service was outstanding. Probably had the best brussel sprout dish ever here! My son loved his smores based dessert as well.

I reserved the private dining room for my son’s rehearsal dinner. Arrangements were made in advance and our reservation was at 8pm. Food orders were not taken until 9pm, and we were served around 10pm and the food was cold. I have to say that the regular restaurant was most likely not given this level of service, but for the amount of money I spent, what we received was absolutely not worth what we received. I would NOT recommend this restaurant for large groups.

We came here for brunch today, Sunday, August 20th, 2023 with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. It would have been our first time dining with Foundry Grill. But after I checked in and nicely asked the hostess if the buffet was the only option I went back to my party to discuss. The website wasn’t clear that the buffet was the only option on Sundays. As we were just walking outside to talk more and see if there were other options, the hostess came up to me and talked to me in a way that was extremely embarrassing and berating in front of other customers. She was upset that I didn’t let her know we were leaving, when we really were just talking more and she abruptly said she was cancelling our reservation. I rarely post reviews but I have never been treated like that by a hostess when I felt I was nothing but nice. I understand it’s a stressful job and always do my best to treat everyone with respect, especially in service jobs. I was just trying to figure out what my large party wanted to do. To the hostess, I’m hoping this was just a bad day for you and genuinely hope your day got better.

Delicious food. Would have been 5 stars other than there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant so service was extremely slow. The waitress herself was lovely she just had too many tables to look after. The brussel sprouts were amazing as well as the pear salad. The primerib dip was delicious and they had the option for an impossible burger instead of the meat burger. Although the food was amazing i do not know if i would visit again unless they had more wait staff
