Really amazing food! On a quiet one way street with an outdoor park/seating area right across the store. Lots of other shop fronts near by so you can enjoy all your time. Food was AMAZING! Well prepared and cooked and spiced. However, the corn bread was honestly terrible but still 5 stars!

Service was poor. We waited 10-15 minutes to order. There was no salt at the table and the waitress kept forgetting to bring hot sauce. Coffee took a while. The hash browns were chopped boiled potatoes. Portions were small. The seating area was cold.

When your bread & ricotta dish looks like this, you know you’re at a very special place. The chef here has been named Vermont Cher of the Year, and the presentation and quality of ingredients shine through. A brilliant experience awaits you – don’t miss it!

This place is ridiculously overpriced. I paid $23 for a chicken and rice plate that had so much juice left over I could have made a soup. The ravioli plate was $22 and comes with four ravioli. 4 ravioli are you kidding me?! And it wasn’t even amazing food. It’s fine dinning pricing with the food being nothing special at all. There were 8 people in my party and I would say each meal was a good double the price of what it should have been. Would not waste my money here again. When I saw the prices I thought for sure the food was going to be amazing. What a disappointment.

Great food!! We tried the wagyu burger and the steak, and both were yummy. The atnosphere is cozy and relaxed.

Loved this brunch! Homemade bloody mary’s, hearty hash, fresh soup and pastries were all amazing. Service was friendly and food was farm fresh.

I appreciate the effort to have finer dining in Chester, but this place needs to work on its execution. I can’t believe it gets such high ratings. My food was so drenched in balsamic vinaigrette I couldn’t taste anything but that. My chicken was overdone. My sautéed greens were completely brown. It was freezing in the restaurant (multiple men wore their hats they were so cold!) so I ordered coffee. It would’ve been the first good thing….except it was ROOM TEMPERATURE. Meanwhile, my husband ordered the Valentines Special….and we waited…and waited…and waited….45 minutes later we were told they “missed” his ticket. The service was poor, as well. I asked for cream (she forgot it). For the price of this place, go down the street to the inn, instead!

I really loved the food here, but our service wasn’t great. That was just our server though, we saw other people come in after us and leave before us (we were there for 3 hours because of how slow our server was), so that wouldn’t deter me from going back. The inside was cool because it was the inside of a Victorian home and it kept all of its original character. I’d recommend it to anyone near the area.
