This restaurant has been here for a long time but there’s new ownership and they re-decorated. I must say it is not like old Paris but more like modern Paris when you walk in they say hello in French, which is a nice little touch. The seating is great. You can talk to your seat, mate without any loud music. Caesar salad was very good. We shared it the chicken. Stefand was good but we did miss the coq au vin. The duck was good and crispy. They let you change your side. If you need it to with that extra charge, which is a good sign everything comes with potatoes and a vegetable or rice. My friend asked for broccoli, and they gave it to her also the scallops were good, but they were only four of them for $42 !!had a vegetable plate. It was ok the bread was very good, hot and crusty The white service was excellent as always parking is no problem here lots of spacing no cost !!it’s summer special time which makes it more possible for to come. They have a three course $55 dinner Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 6:30.

Tonight was our first night here and it was great! The food was absolutely fabulous. From the escargot and crab, and artichoke to the rack of lamb and crab and shrimp stuffed Branzino. We did not see our server very much, but thank goodness they work as a team and everybody helped out and I want to give a special thank you to Martini. He is the absolute best! He took our appetizer and entrée order. He was so kind to answer questions and really made us feel welcome and special. Martini you are one of a kind.

Discovered this gem of a place last week when we went there to dine for my son’s birthday. Make no mistake, this is just not ‘any other’ walk-in joint. Very elite in appearance with plush ambience and above par professional service. The food was extremely delectable and the price they charge is amply evident in the quality and choice of their offerings. We started with the Escargot which is always a regular pick, albeit wherever available, for my family. My personal favorite of the day was Wagyu Beef with Truffles and Caviar, which were just incomparable. We also had the Dover sole which was very nicely done. More importantly, the portions were apt. They also had reasonably large spread for dessert, which was good, nothing extra-ordinary unlike the appetizers or entrees that we had picked. This is surely a ‘good to visit’ for people who enjoy great food and ‘must visit’ for food connoisseurs.

The food was great but the service was beneath what we expected. No one followed up on our orders and how things were. The best service we had was from the valet

Excellent authentically French restaurant. I had the best escargot this side of the Atlantic. My wife had a very generous and delicious poached salmon. We didnt try it, but they bravely offered pan-seared sweetbreads (a cow’s thymus gland commonly served in France, but not easily made delicious). Outstanding service in a quiet delightful atmosphere.

I had been to The French Gazebo for lunch about 32 years ago and loved it then, but had never been back for dinner. I had been telling a friend recently that I craved Dover Sole, which I had not had in over 30 years (last had at Charley’s Crab in Palm Beach at least 31 years ago). My friend surprised me and made reservations for the two of us and another couple who are very close friends.

We were longtime customers of Kathy’s Gazebo. Apparently ownership and management have changed but sadly not for the better. Firstly the bread was obviously stale from sitting out. Previous visits they always brought bottled water to the table but we had to ask for it. On previous visits they always brought little cheese puff pastries with cocktails, which they do not do anymore. The 4 scallops served for the entree were smaller than usual and burnt on both sides. As we always had done before, we ordered soufflés for dessert at the initial order and this waiter said to let him know 10 minutes before we were done with our entree to place the order. We would have done so if the waiter had ever returned to check on our meal, which he didn’t. We had to tell the man clearing the dishes to let him know. Then he comes back 15 minutes or so later with one small soufflé, when we clearly said we each wanted one. We had one starter, two cocktails, two entrees, two Cappuccinos and two soufflés for $200, plus tax and tip. We have never minded paying higher prices but expect better than this. We won’t be back.

We went to the French Gazebo for dinner on 4/22/2023 and they earned hardly 1.5 stars (and that is being generous, just because the valet crew and busboys are nice and earned 5 stars). The restaurant in general was not neat as you expect for the prices of the food. The furniture had scratches and seem dirty. The waiting staff was nicely dressed in tuxedos as expected for an upscale restaurant; however, they were very rude as other reviewers explained. If you ask questions, the arrogance is exponential. For example, we ordered oysters florentine and a head of a mid-size shrimp was in sauce, we called the waiter and showed him and instead of him apologizing or exchanging it, we got lectured that oysters eat as well and that the oyster ate the shrimp. On the other hand, the hostess was dressed for a strip club, she was wearing white very short-shorts with white transparent sandals high heels, this unacceptable for an elegant upscale French restaurant. We rather take the trip to Palm Beach area. This was an overpriced less than mediocre experience. Do not go there on a date or business, it is very distracting watching the hostess calling attention to herself on that trashy/skimpy outfit, then watching waiting staff arguing outloud with the clients or among themselves.
