I was in Boise on business and just happened to walk by this place. My first impression was not one of a pizza place. I saw just another bar slinging microbrews and passing off bar food as restaurant cuisine. At the end of my meal, I found nothing to convince me otherwise. If you can put yourself in this mindset Front Door does offer slightly above average pub grub and reasonable prices. I had a cobb salad. This is my go-to meal when on the road and in a new place. The service was quick and the meal enjoyable. Overall I found Front Door a nice enough place for either a quick meal or a place to hang out and have a few drinks.

Second trip to this very nice place downtown Boise. Took my sweetie after work for her to try the Thai peanut pizza ad she is very picky about pizza. She loved it as I enjoyed it for a second time. The service is top notch and thank you Darrell for remembering my name. We will be back

Seriously the best place we’ve eaten around town. Out of towny ate lots of places. Everything we had was 5 stars. Mac N Cheese, pizza, and BLT. The best food and they have a great selection of beers!

The Front Door is a hidden gem in downtown Boise. The ambiance and vibe of this little pizza place is the perfect spot to enjoy some great food and friendly service. The food is very consistent and always delicious. Their beer selection is very diverse and rotates regularly so you can always find something new to try. They also have a full bar! I’m never disappointed when I grab a bite at Front Door!

Reallly…delicious…pizzas. To quote my son “The best pizza I’ve ever had because they put the noodles and the meatballs and the sauce on it.” He had the spaghetti and meatball pizza. I had the Thai pizza, perfectly balanced peanut sauce, veggies, wontons, and chicken – the fresh cilantro topped it perfectly. The crust is excellent.

What can I say, we stumbled across front door today while on a quick stopover in Boise. What a great choice it was the beer was cold good and inexpensive. The service was even better and the food was absolutely outstanding. The manager Eric served us and was very pleasant and interactive obviously really into what he’s doing. I had the boss personal Pizza and oh my God was it outstanding! Michelle had the meatball sandwich and salad and absolutely enjoyed it. If you’re ever in Boise downtown I recommend stopping by and having a bite and a pint.

The food was outstanding. Chance (the chef) is a true artist! Not only did he make it absolutely delicious, but he made the presentation stunning. Our server Mariah was awesome! she was friendly, quick with our food and drinks and so kind. I would highly recommend the bruschetta, the jalapeño poppers, and the pizzas were soooooo good! The pepperoni sub sandwich was amazing, as well! Incredibly reasonable prices.

I ordered the Mac and cheese pizza and it was pretty good, the flavors were very well balanced. The wings were only okay. Kind of disappointed that they don’t do a medium pizza anymore or at least that’s what I was told over the phone.
