If you like catfish, I would recommend the blackened catfish because I liked the seasoning, but my companion thought the fried catfish was better–I thought it was more neutral taste. I’m not a fan of beans and cornbread, but we were told it is a big seller for them… Service was great. Portion size was good.

It’s rare to find a restaurant lately where the pricing is more than affordable and not jacked up by inflation. The pricing is great on its own but paired with the fantastic food and great service this restaurant was a great find. I would make the drive again to eat here. Clean with a modern rustic look. Polite and attentive servers. Get the fried catfish. It is delicious.

While visiting family, we stopped in for late lunch. The fried catfish was very good, and very generous portions. While you wait, they bring complementary hush puppies, cornbread muffins, and white beans with sweet relish.

This place is fantastic. Down home cooking with great service and atmosphere. We all had the catfish and steak, great portions and cooked just right, crispy breading but moist fish! The fixin’s, beans and cornbread, hush puppies, and coleslaw were all great, I could eat just that. The sweet relish is excellent with the beans.
