This establishment has been serving its patrons since 1950, standing the test of time with its classic charm. It may not boast extravagant features, but it offers something even better: fantastic burgers, delectable cheese fries, mouthwatering shakes, and a variety of other delightful treats. Stepping into this place evokes a sense of nostalgia, transporting you to a bygone era. Each item on the menu is prepared with care and made to order, ensuring a delicious dining experience. It’s worth noting that this place operates on a cash-only basis, adding to its old-school charm. Make sure to add it to your list of places to visit when you have the opportunity. I guarantee you won’t regret it!

Tucked up next to the river, a traditional local roadside spot with covered outdoor seating. Good burgers and patty melts.

I had a friend referring & my husband loves Frosty Mug so we ride up here all way from Cullman occasionally.

Ice cream down by the riverside on a hot summer day is hard to beat, I have been coming here for over 60 years, and it’s always good

The ice cream cone was generous & good. The banana split was very good. The prices are reasonable. We’ll be going back. They were very busy but the service time was good. They could use citronella candles or such since they’re right beside the river.

I’ve probably tried everything on the menu and everything is good except for the French fries. They are awful. They are buying culls, like the pick-5 fries from the grocery store. They may be saving money buying these but they will lose in the long run.

Very good food, and a small, American biz us locals need to keep it going!!!! Although they are a little bit pricey, when I can afford it, I love their cheese burgers too.

Food is great my favorite is the pineapple shake. Be sure to bring cash they do not take cards or checks. It’s a drive up and eat in car but they do have picnic tables over looking the river

My Honest Assessment
We took our kiddos out for fried pickles and ice cream…we ordered the fried pickles but were a little disappointed that it was not the fried pickles spears that we have come to love for the past couple years. I hope that the little fried pickle strips that we got Saturday isnt a replacement to the originals because the spears are the best. I ordered the banana split hands down the best around. It is big enough for two people ( if not more) to share. They have redone the deck. We really enjoyed it.
