Been here many times, never a bad meal. Had prime rib tonight, was awesome. Taco Thursday is great for shrimp tacos. Dinner starts at 4. Reasonably priced. Can’t go wrong.

Food was okay. Wait staff was not welcoming and seemed cold. The heavy set woman in particular. I think they are understaffed. There was a young girl helping out but I think she was new to the job. Suffice it to say that there was no welcome upon entrance. Had to ask separately for silverware and a straw. The waitress never came by to see how my food was after serving. She also promptly plucked down the ticket without asking if I wanted dessert. After dessert she put down another ticket without saying a word. My family’s been in the restaurant business for over 40 years and we would not tolerate someone on our staff behaving that way.

Down home friendly and yummy. Stopped for a quick bite and stayed to chat with neighborhood regulars. This may become our go-to burger destination. And, most importantly for us – dog friendly – our precious little canine was greeted with warmth and a cold bowl of h2o.

Staff was friendly, food was okay (fries were soaked with oil and I love French fries). It’s definitely a place for the locals to socialize, grab a quick bite to eat & drink. Nothing to brag about so we will probably not going back with 2 other nicer dining options nearby.

Maybe it was just us, but there was a decided lack of welcome in the air here. My husband and I entered and the hostess looked right through us demanding to know what was wrong with the door we had just walked through. She offhandedly indicated a table for us, then vanished, and we settled in for a long wait. (15 minutes or so). We knew the place was busy, but found it disappointing that customers who entered after us were seated, given menus and received drinks before we REQUESTED menus. A sweet young lady brought us ONE menu to share, and then turned the specials board toward a different table. Several minutes later, we flagged down the first server who came by, asking if we could order drinks. When she brought them, we immediately ordered our food. Who knew when she might come back, after all?

They truly couldn’t care less about you if you’re not on a first name basis. My table waited over an hour for food (served after people that sat after us) they forgot our appitizers and two plates (out of four) were missing sides.

Made the mistake of thinking this was the same blah restaurant I had gone to several years ago. New owner, new vibes, very enjoyable meal. We sat outside and had fried shrimp and salad with grilled shrimp. Good desert selection. Great waitress. We will be back.
