I have been visiting this place since its original location. It’s new location is small but works. They have outdoor seating in spring and summer. The atmosphere inside is casual yet upbeat. The smoked salmon is amazing! The fries and dipping sauce are fantastic. Rose lemonade a bit too sweet and overpriced for using” simply lemonade “. I enjoyed my spinach pie, very good. I do not think anything on the menu would be bad honestly. The food tastes fresh. The house tea with honey is a blend of different flowers. The baklava is a delight. I look forward to returning and trying more.

The Garden had an amazing atmosphere but they sure were super busy on a Friday dinner service, it was a bit slow but they made amazing flavorful food. We had the Garden platter and the Mezza platter, I wish they had more portions of rice and pita but the meats were great! My favorite was the lamb.

The Garden is a great food oasis in downtown Scranton. Delicious food and wonderful service. Jalen our server was friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was deliciously seasoned with great depth of flavor. Fresh ingredients and plated beautifully. I highly recommend this restaurant when in Scranton.

Ordered the Vegetarian Mezze platter ($35), the photo shows all the items. The food was decent, not bad for a one-time eat. We liked the baba ganoush and tabbouleh was good. But The hummus was dry, the menakeesh was oily, sadly the vine leaves was falling apart and the spinach pie was not tasty.

I was looking for something to grab to eat and came across this restaurant. I called in my order of a chicken wrap and chicken platter. When I arrived I had to find parking on the street. When I walked in I was greeted and waiting my turn in this small, cute cafe. My food was ready and I paid and left. When I dug in the food was good. The only thing I could of done without is the chips in the platter and the pickled cabbage in the wrap. All in all I had a good experience.

We had the hummus starter, the falafel starter and the lamb gyro sandwich. The food was excellent, maybe the best lamb I’ve ever had. The only small thing was the gyro could have used some tomato and onion (not a big enough deal to deduct a star). The waiter was a very nice young man, courteous, prompt and pleasant. The atmosphere was about what you’d expect in a downtown small storefront restaurant. The place was very clean. Overall, we highly recommend The Garden!

I happened to be in Scranton for work and was so excited to try the Garden–it did not disappoint! I got the rice bowl, which was so flavorful and then the baklava was some of the best I have ever had. They have the most delicious food with a great family-oriented feel!
