Man, for a Garlic Knot location, this place is pretty rough. The inside looks like an independent Italian restaurant that opened days ago with liters of soda bought in bulk and a few mismashed cups in a variety of colors.

I really wanted to like this place. I grew up in the NYC, Jersey area and even if it wouldn’t be the same I was hoping this place would at least offer a good slice + knots that I could visit often. I mean it did have both NYC and garlic knots in the name. Sadly after eating here, I rather order pizza hut or another chain that’s nearby. Where to start… the garlic knots were completely inedible. I ordered to go, but I took a bite before driving back home. I had the displeasure of having to keep that taste in my mouth for the next 10 mins. The garlic knot was pretty hard and bland. There was a taste of improperly prepped dough lingering. Part of the knot had also gone stale and was rock hard. If I took my grandma here, she would of cracked a tooth. When I arrived home I inspected all the knots and they were in a similar state. Some of them had softer spots, and I took a bite out of curiosity. Unfortunately the softer parts were bland mixed in with that bad dough taste. Visual inspection of the knots showed me some unrisen parts of the dough which lead me to believe not only where they prepared wrong but were also made at least 3 days earlier + reheated a few times. Next we had a pizza, it at least looked good. The taste would be maybe a 2.5/5, at least it was kind of edible. It was loaded with a bit too much oil that seeped onto my table through the pizza box by the time I ate the two slices I could stomach. Based on what I saw, I don’t see how there aren’t health violation going on in the kitchen. I would save the money and avoid the place.

Ordered 2 pastas. They showed up in a brown paper bag, but one of the pastas was packaged upside down. The sauce leaked out and ruined the bag. The splatter onto the concrete manged to ruin the food and my new shoes.

I wish I would’ve read these reviews before I came to order take out. Listen to the negative reviews. I have eaten at other garlic knots and they’ve always been awesome. This place would save a lot of money and get more return customers if they would invest in training their employees how to make pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was overcheesed, under sauced, undercooked, and inedible. I made it through one slice and tossed the rest. The garlic knots had great texture, but no garlic, no oil or butter… basically breadsticks. All the ingredients seemed OK on their own, their staff just doesn’t know how to assemble or cook them.

Stopped in here 30 minutes to closing to grab some food after a show at Red Rocks. Service was awesome. Everyone was friendly. We loved the food. Great portions, hot, fresh and delicious.

This is a hole in the wall pizza joint that would be better off if nobody ever saw their store or kitchen. They were understaffed on July 4th and getting hammered with orders. Quality suffered big time. I got an undercooked pizza with 3x as much cheese on it as it should have had – basically a baked hunk of cheese with a few toppings mixed in. The Garlic Knot in Denver that closed was MUCH better and MUCH cleaner.

This place is disgusting. It looks like they’ve never cared to make sure anythings actually clean. I ordered take out 20 minutes ago and just got here to pick it up and they said it’s going to be another 20 minutes. They’re completely dead no tickets or other customers around. I worked at a different location for years and I can promise you it doesn’t even take 10 minutes to make and cook a pizza. Which is the second longest item on the menu to cook. The wings take the longest being 12 minutes. I’ll never order from here again and hopefully this reviews saves several people from possibly wasting their money, time, or from getting sick due to lack of no safety protocols being followed. Everytime I come here they are always so late on the quoted time. The quality of everything here is going straight downhill. Everyone here should be embarrassed honestly. I’m not even going to stick around for this. Throw it in the trash where it belongs boys.

Had lunch at Garlic Knot in Lakewood, one of my favorite lunch/dinner spots. The manager was very friendly and helpful. I was starving and my food was quick to come back to me and so delicious. If you are looking for a great spot for pizza, pasta, and salads in Green Mountain, I highly recommend Garlic Knot off Alameda!

Have ordered from here before multiple times. This time the food was terrible as well as the last 2 orders quality is going down massively. I’m questioning whether or not the person cooking the pizza has ever made a pizza before today. Entirely too much cheese soggy, probably the worst pizza I’ve had in CO. Also there’s no garlic on the garlic knots….. Will not go back to this location.

We’ve ordered pizza quite a bit from here and it’s definitely hit and miss. Sometimes it’s very good and others it’s almost inedible due to an absolutely absurd amount of cheese or being undercooked or both. Unfortunately it seems that has been the case more often than not the past few times for us. There is so much cheese the pizza is super doughy and not cooked through. This is especially true with the cheese on the garlic knots. I love cheese but it’s truly ridiculous sometimes what we get so guessing there is some cook that really really really really loves cheese but for us we’ll probably start looking to go somewhere else unless consistency can come and they stop dumping cheese on the pizza and other items.
