Worth the drive! We loved this place! Highly recommend it! We have never been here. Stopped by on a whim and found out reservations were recommended because it was Oktoberfest. They were able to get us right in anyway. The food was soooooooooooo yummy! I had a pretzel with house sauce and we all had the braut bar with 4 different kinds! German potato salad and green beans too. Topped it off with a delicious made from scratch apple dumpling and ice cream! The food here was made from scratch and had the kind of flavor and love that good food is supposed to have. This is the kind of place where you dream of the meal you enjoyed at random times for days so you have to eventually go back. They also had a live band…. the St. Louis Express. The staff was very nice and service was top notch. Loved the outfits and the cute town! Worth driving too. The outfits were also cute. The price was also not bad. We will be back!

The food was delicious… I miss Germany and this is the closest I’ve gotten to authentic German food here in the US!! The Rahm Schnitzel with German Potato Salad is what I got. So amazing! I highly recommend this place. And the wait staff is awesome, especially Elizabeth! I can’t wait to come back!

I am of German decent and this place is about as authentic as it gets. Pretzel and potatoe cakes are a must and you better wash it all down with a hand made apple dumpling. 5 out of 5!!!

First time for us to enjoy a dinner. Good service and food was delicious. Most of our party had the Schnitzel (variety on the menu). The apple tart with honey icecream and layered cherry torte were a great way to top it off. Great stop if you are on the way to the lake. Worth the trip if you want to enjoy the food and shopping in Colecamp.

The service and food at The German Table was outstanding. We had the Reubeb Dip which was fantastic and we will definitely order it next time we are in. We ordered a Dunkel beer and it was delicious. For our main meal we ordered the Jager schnitzel plate which had delicious sweet red cabbage and perfectly made german potato salad. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
