We went here last weekend for the first time. We sat out on the covered patio to listen to great live music and have a cold beer and some dinner. We had the Dagwood sandwich and a fried grouper sandwich. Both were outstanding. The service was excellent. The crowd was friendly and everyone seemed to be having fun. We will be back.

This business definitely has a lot of potential. It’s very small, but you can eat inside or outside. There are lots of workers who are very friendly. I had a burger cooked medium and it was very good. I would have liked a thicker tomato and more lettuce. The ranch dressing is very good…I had a side salad. The owner stopped and asked how everything was. He was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Definitely worth a visit, owner Steve was friendly and welcoming. Bartender/waiter Buster was THE BEST, very helpful and friendly. Good drinks, good food and great space. Enjoyed the outdoor patio will be back for live music on the weekends.

Burger was great and cooked perfectly. Got grouper sanwhich blackened, very generous portion of fish. Owner is great and took the time to check on our food. He shows the pride they take in their restaurant. Coming back for sure!

Wings were great. We had them fried hard. Burger and chicken sandwiches were cooked to perfection and were juicy. Grouper bites and sandwich were great. Didn’t care for the tartar sauce on the grouper sandwich – wish it was sweeter. Onion rings were great – reminded me of the ones I would get as a child at the fair. Getaway sauce needs to be sweeter to set a nice balance between salty and sweet. Shrimp was descent for a place that doesn’t specialise in seafood. Steve and our server were awesome and accomodating. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back!!!!!!!!!

We heard great things about The Getaway Grille and Bar and decided to give it a try for ourselves. We were blown away by the Hot Shot Burger and Club Sandwich. We both had the Sidewinder Fries and shared the Peanut Butter Explosion Cake (pic was after we dug in). The food was very satisfying and was pleased that Sharon, co-owner came by our table to see how things were going. Our server, Ace was also very personable and attentive. The only recommendation we have is to cook the bacon crispier instead of being somewhat chewy. Overall, we will definitely be returning!

The Getaway Grille and Bar was delicious! The menu has a good variety and the portion sizes are great. I had the classic burger and added cheese, which was delicious. The sidewinder fries are something special. Usually, fries are fries, but these are yummy hunks of potato! My son got the Dagwood, which as you can tell by the picture, is a meaty masterpiece. He loved it and was super full after the first half. The menu has lots to try, so we will be back! Special shout out to Buster, our server, who was great, and the owner, Steve (I’m pretty sure), who stopped by to make sure everything was delicious. Try this place!

This was our first time visiting The Getaway Grill. There is a nice atmosphere, and we were welcomed when we walked in the door by the bartender and one of the owners. I think the baretenders name was Ace. She was our server and she was great! We had a nice conversation with her. There is a good variety on the menu. She told us all the menu items are the owners’ favorites. That is the best menu. The food was very hot and fresh. The Philly Cheesesteak and onion rings I had were one of the best I’ve had in Tallahassee! We also had the grilled Grouper sandwich and grilled broccoli. It was wonderful. I’ve never had grilled broccoli. That was really good! We had a burger that was cooked perfectly to medium. They have a patio for outdoor dining and are a pet friendly restaurant. One of the owners came out of the kitchen and spoke to us. He was very nice. We will definitely put this on our rotation of local establishments to visit. Everyone should go check this new place out!
