I enjoyed a wonderful birthday lunch today at this exquisite venue. My appetizer was superb and was large enough to share. My entree which you can see in the photo was beautiful, generous, and the flavors were beyond delicious. My dining companion was so impressed by the presentation that he snapped the photo! I have dined here several times before and am always impressed with Emilie’s creativity and culinary artistry. I had never tried the Celebration Cake until today and I must say that I have never, in all my travels, tasted anything as heavenly as this family recipe. I mentioned to our wonderful server, Anna, how blown away I was by the cake and she shared that this family recipe was her grandmother’s. Anna is always so gracious and kind. My dining companion had special dietary restrictions and they were only too happy to accommodate. I have told so many people about this gem of a restaurant; I am always confident in recommending anyone make the scenic drive to The Glitz. Thank you Emilie, Anna and staff for making today so special!

Four of us ladies who have been friends for 50 or 60 years enjoyed this experience very much. They catered to our every need and we were not rushed. I think it is great that the lunch is one price, yet you have choices of what you have. It is all very good! I highly recommend it for a ladies’ day out and I can’t wait to bring my 11 year old granddaughter who loves a bit of fancy!

I have been a regular patron for years and have, without any reservation, recommended The Glitz to many others who have thanked me for their experience there. The pride the owner takes in every aspect of what I like to call “The Glitz experience” is evident from the minute one enters into the fairytale-like atmosphere, to the configuration of carefully crafted menu items that are exquisitely made and presented, to an amazingly orchestrated wait staff that is at once highly efficient and unassuming. Kudos to The Glitz for consistency in quality through many years, which is no small accomplishment! I shall, without hesitation, continue to bring my special guests to experience this culinary nirvana and recommend it confidently, especially to those with discriminating taste.

This was a nice spot! We all had really good food in a room that made us think of fairies. The only issue was a completely rubbery, uncutable, inedible piece of chicken on a salad my kid ordered. Dainty portions, but we had a good time.

We went to The Glitz for my wife’s birthday. She really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The Glitz is inside what was once an elementary school and shares space with a very interesting antique shop. The menu is limited to a choice between two entrees both of which were very good. The entrees change every two weeks. This seems to be a place the ladies like to frequent.

There is no place like this anywhere near & far. Emily is sure to have delicious & one of a kind food & no visit is complete until you meet Jane upstairs at Irish Acres Antiques.
