I was visiting the area and wanted something besides burgers or Mexican food. This place did not disappoint! My only regret is not getting more to try but I tried the dumplings, samosa, and Thai coconut curry. All were fantastic and I loved that I got the two sides first and I took my time eating before the curry was brought out in the most beautiful dish and piping hot. I also had a Thai tea to go and it was the perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend trying this place if you’re in town. The only negative is that it’s a small place and they got a pretty good dinner crowd for a Monday evening so maybe take it to go. There is outside eating space but it was almost 90 degrees outside so I didn’t want to do that.

The dish I tried (tic tac curry w tofu) was simply amazing and so flavorful. The service was good and thoughtful, even for an order-at-the-counter place. Most dishes can be prepared vegetarian style.

My favorite restaurant in Madison! I’ve had 75% of the menu at this point and never been disappointed. The Tibetan Dumplings are a MUST and anything else you order is going to make you plan the next time you’ll be back.

Three of us did carry out. Only one of us would return. The one who would really liked her meal. One of the other meals was way too spicy even though the lowest spice level was requested, so be careful if you don’t like a lot of spice. The other less than happy diner had the Thai curry. It had some spice, but not much flavor. Definitely have had better elsewhere. Order was ready on time and was accurate.

It’s a cozy shop with a lot of personality. The staff are very polite and are happy to explain the menu should you need assistance. On my last visit they shared that their spice level scale goes up to 100(!?), so I will definitely be back to test myself. The dishes are reliably delicious, the menu has variety, and all for a good price!

Absolutely delicious food, the service is fast and the owner came around to make sure that everything was to our liking. Pleasant atmosphere with some outdoor seating available. I’ve had both the jambalaya and the Korean bbq pork and both were incredible. Great vegan options available in the form of substituting tofu.

The curry noodles with tofu are to absolutely DIE for. Like literally. I would die for them. I would die just for the chance to taste them and then when someone brings the noodles out I would simply come back to life because that’s how strong my urge to eat them is. Perfectly creamy. Nice, harmonious combination of all the good spices. Amazingly browned and flavorful tofu with the most perfect crispy-outside-but-soft-and-fluffy-inside texture that has soaked up the sauce through every possible nook and cranny. And huge portions too, at that. It is a very small place with an equally small body of staff, so I recommend getting here early before peak lunch/dinner hours, no matter whether you’re planning on dining in or getting takeout. I wish I could become an apprentice here just to learn how to make the noodles. Seriously.

Fabulous food! You can order your preferred spice level (1-5). The tofu tic-tac curry was wonderful as were the tofu bbq tacos. Generous portions and pleasing presentation. The mango lassi was just about the best I’ve had. The dining area is small and cozy. So glad we stopped here.

I LOVE this place! I first discovered it in OCT 2019 while traveling to Madison for work. I live in Las Vegas. I eat here, multiple times per work trip. The food is delicious, the owner is awesome, and service is always great. I don’t like traveling for work, but I look forward to coming to Madison because of this restaurant. The mango coconut curry, bajji, 15 bean soup, coconut cauli chowder, samosas and more are all so flavorful.
