Food is delish, service is wonderful. Went on a Sunday morning and enjoyed the grilled salmon burrito (that came with breakfast potatoes) and an iced latte.. a nice west Philly gem; I see why this place had been held in high regard (hence “the golden standard”)! Been here twice before , great service . 6/11/23 12p Called in order for egg bowl & breakfast burrito , which was so good . Heading home , stopped , thinking I dropped ear bud case /charger, went back asked if anyone seen or turned it in . The young lady with short hair and nose piercing , got a BIG TIME ATTITUDE . Said where extremely busy , phone constantly ringing . Hell , if she can’t deal with a little turbulence , she should leave . At 58 yrs young , I’ve driven trucks , buses and worked with children ..That KID should be glad I didn’t lay into her , FREAKING ROOKIE … With that being said , check – make sure you have everything before rolling out . Oops I left case home .

I have been coming to the Gold Standard for maybe a decade now, probably more. The decline in the service/food is disappointing, and my last visit was the most disappointing so far. They are open less now (which did not contribute to the 2 star review, i understand business is business), and the food i ordered was cold. i waited half an hour for it and i was just standing there so it wasnt cold from me arriving late or something. i asked for syrup from the person behind the counter and they made it out like it was a chore, saying there was already some inside. i know for a fact there wouldnt be because like i said i’ve been coming here for over a decade. i hope to change this review to 5 stars in the future, but at the moment it’s not the establishment i know it can be.

This has been a go-to spot recently. Easy take out but also nice to eat in. Great menu, everything I’ve had so far has been great. They also are really good with gluten-free, especially for my friend who has celiac disease and needs to take extra precautions.

Always a great experience here. The food is fresh, nicely presented, and delicious. The staff is pleasant and efficient. The restaurant is clean and has great vibes. It also had varied seating options: Dining room, outside, or cafe/coffehouse type seating that overlooks the outdoor area. Love it!
