We spent ten weeks traveling the US and Canada by motorcycle this summer and stopped at innumerable bars and restaurants — way too many to review so I stick to posting only about places we loved. We spent a really enjoyable evening chatting with the owner of The Good Ol’ Days, admiring his growing collection of Hamm’s beer signs, watching the electric train circle the ceiling, drinking an excellent local lager and devouring absolutely delicious patty melts. Just exactly, precisely what you want in a local bar. Thanks for a great time.

Sunday is breakfast only which we didn’t notice ahead of time so we were stuck with leaving or having breakfast. We had been driving for 6 and had another 2 hours to get home, so breakfast it was. Food was cooked well and service was good. Great decor and spacious seating.

This place is great! Stopped here for breakfast on our way back home on a Sunday. We sat at the bar and our bartender was great. I had the Denver Omelet with hash browns. They were busy and with a small kitchen it didn’t take to long to get our food.

I’d go 3.5 stars if I could. This is a solid place. The food is not amazing, but it’s tasty. The service is good, very attentive. They have a GB Packer corner! Recommend.

Very cool little bar and restaurant. Lots of cool old pictures to look at. Very small town atmosphere. Pool table and pull tabs. Several TVs for game day. We ate here twice and the food and service where both very good. Recommend trying then out if you are near tower.

Amazing! So glad we stopped before leaving Tower. Breakfast was spot on…excellent, the service was fantastic and so nice, the decor was really neat to read the history and see all the neat pics and items! We will definitely be back!

Despite that it’s a Packer bar, great cook tonight. Loved the poppers, and the train circling the antique animated Hamm’s beer signs surrounding the bar. A big thumbs up to a very engaged cook in the kitchen!
