Wasn’t expecting much and I was pleasantly surprised. At first blush seemed like a neighborhood bar that was best for bud or natural light and maybe nachos with can cheese. Ends up having a great beer selection with staff that was attentive and the food was outstanding. The blue cheese burger I had was cooked correctly and dressed out quite well. The tables and area were clean and kept clean during my visit. Definitely worth the stop for a drink AND a meal.

You know, we read a bunch of the reviews before coming and the people that scored this place poorly are out of place. We had such a great lunch/early dinner. The Tijuana burger was excellent-I asked for my burger to be medium and it was precisely that. And we ordered the pretzels and cheese as an appetizer and it literally melted in our mouths. It was so good. And the other person in our party had the club and gave it a great nod as well. Head to the Granville—realy, really good. (Oh, and I really liked the music choices played). It would be a great atmosphere to come here for a U of L game…need to remember that for next game.

We’ve lived in Louisville for 17 years, and this was our first visit to the Granville. Shame on us! We had a large group come in, and they were very accommodating. It was a Wednesday, so the special was the Granville Burger for only $7. My wife and I ordered something else, but everyone else at the table who ordered it LOVED it. We ordered the chicken wings with mild buffalo sauce, and a grilled chicken salad. Not only was the food very good, for a bar it had the freshest salad I’ve ever had! Also, the drinks were reasonably priced…my vodka and soda was only $3! Finally, the service was awesome…or server Raven was very attentive. Overall, a great experience!

Had brunch here for the first time! It was delicious. I got the breakfast sandwich & it had a fantastic kick that added to the flavor. The bacon and eggs were cooked to perfection. Breakfast tots were immaculate and the latte was just as good as a coffeehouse. Staff is super friendly as well! 12/10 experience. Definitely coming back

They didn’t have a server inside for table service and bartenders don’t even take care of the customers at the table. There was a food runner and he was not able to bring everything on time. My friends got their fries 20minutes later after the food was delivered. I wanted to sit outside while waiting my friends. The employees tried to kick me out just because I sat outside but their workers sit outside comfortably. The way they talked to me was very rude and unprofessional. He commanded me to bring the chair inside. And the manager was worse than his employees. He talked to me in a rude tone and he told me to sit inside. I ran away from noise because it was highly inside. The music was so loud obnoxiously that’s why I had to wait outside. The way how they treat customers is very impudent and rude. They all are unprofessional and they argue with customers. I worked so many years in food service industry and that is not the way how to deal with the situation. The worst bar experience I have ever had so far. This place might be okay for college kids who like loud bar environment. It’s not good for adults.

Be aware that it becomes a college bar at night. We went for a late lunch and hung out before the big crowd came. Quite during the day and early evening. Great specials, amazing courtyard in the back that is dog friendly, and wonderful service. Met some cool people from Spain and Portland there. Great recommendations from staff about cool things going on in Louisville. Food was not bad at all but what you would expect from a bar. The wings were great and a good price point. We got a pitcher of regional pilsner for cheap cheap cheap for their daily special. Might become regulars.

This is great place in old Louisville. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and the fried cheesecake. Trust me you need the cheesecake. It’s a great pub menu. Everything was great and hot and fresh. Best part…they have tots. Anytime I am by there I will stop in

A fun busy little bar. Trivia every Tuesday is a good time and my weekly socialization. They have a quality selection of beer and an interesting place. Food is good and I try and get something new every time. Never had any trouble with staff or patrons.

I thought we would give this a try for Louisville burger week. I called ahead since I didn’t see that I could order take out and I had 2 grandkids under 21 with me. Very nice on the phone and said bring them on in, as long as it’s before 8pm. Pictures are what each of us ordered. The service was very fast and friendly! It was a bit more crowded than I preferred, but it was expected given the day/time. The food was good, both grandkids liked what they got, big plus! My oldest granddaughter and myself got “the Charlie” burger and both were cooked exactly as ordered. Still it was a bit disappointing as I kind of expected an awesome burger and it wasn’t that. Neither of us could tell if there was any of the “homemade steak sauce” on it or not. It wasn’t bad at all, just not the super good burger I was expecting or craving.
