Stopped in for a quick snack and ordered the fried real grouper bites. The chips and salsa were good and the Grouper bites were OK but not really hot and fresh fried. The texture and temperature suggested to me they had been microwaved. My server was attentive and good, but I think she was the only one doing the outside bar and inside and the doors are open and it was borderline of warm even inside.

We stayed in Safety Harbor & wanted some good food. We decided to give this place a shot. The bartender was phenomenal & the food was great (mahi mahi, shrimp & grouper). If you’re looking for a solid experience go try this place out.

The alligator appetizer Awesome,along with fried calamari fabulous. Oysters ice cold big juicy. Main meal lobster sandwich wow, husband Cajun crawfish he loved worth the drive from Dade City.

I love this place! My husband and I recently found this restaurant and we absolutely love it. The food is incredible and the drink specials are the best. We would usually sit outside at the bar but decided to sit at a table and bring our son. Doc waited on us and not only was he funny and an absolute delight but he treated our son like a king. The service was so great that we came back on the following Sunday and we plan on going again this coming Sunday! See you next week Doc! Oh and EVERYTHING on the menu is fabulous.

This was our first time here. Their fried mushrooms were good but the portion was underwhelming. It was like infant size. The fried haddock & scallops were impressive but lacked seasoning, the broccoli was seasoned very well. If your going to get the fried haddock sandwich opt for the meal instead. More bang for your buck. The Lobster bisque was very fishy. The clam chowder was good.

I ordered the seafood bag which overall tasted well but it was incredibly difficult to order through the phone. Their phone system says they have a high volume of calls but this place is dead! I ordered. 3 boiled eggs with the seafood boil bag and the eggs never made it in the bag. The potatoes are mediocre and the sausage is very thin. Better off going down to US 19 where you get real portions of sausage and potatoes where they don’t forget the extra items you ordered even though they are slammed busy.

This place is excellent. Food is great and fresh. This restaurant and the bathrooms are very clean. Great atmosphere, nice 80s music…if you like that which I do. I will definitely come back here. I had the fisherman’s platter, it was great.

The experience we had at The Great Catch Oldsmar was just fantastic. We enjoyed a private seating area. The entire staff was hospitable and professional. The food was amazing with large portions, excellent seasoning, and tasty dessert options. It was certainly a Taste of Boston. If you have the opportunity, I strongly recommend!
