My wife and I went here for a date night. It was great. The cocktails were very good. The lobster/crab cake appetizer was the star of the night. My steak was cooked perfectly but was a little under seasoned and not as juicy as I like. My wife said her halibut was a little on the dry side too. The succotash was amazing, as were the polenta fries (wow, so good!). The service was TOP NOTCH and we will definitely come back but probably order something slightly different.

Went here for my own and my friend’s birthdays and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious, all hot and fresh. Steak was cooked perfectly. Wine service was great. Our waiter (sorry I forgot his name!) was very attentive and very friendly. Will definitely come back when the weather is nicer so we can sit outside.

My wife and I had dinner at the grill for our anniversary in April 29th. It may be the worst experience we ever had dining. We both ordered the steak frites. We asked for medium rare . Not only was it overcooked but it was cold as ice as was the asparagus. The fries were burnt. The drinks we ordered were also terrible. We didn’t eat half of the steak and no one asked why we didn’t want it wrapped. Never go there again or recommend.

A great choice for our search of water view restaurants here on LI. Great service…menu…wine list. Our “porterhouse” for two was tender & very tasty. Didn’t need to add anything or sauce to it. Kudos to everyone who made our dinner a very pleasant experience.

Great service! Ty Annie! The Veal Tomahawk was to die for and my husband loved his Filet Mignon! The whole staff went above and beyond and it was a pleasure celebrating our 16th wedding Anniversary where we got married (Formally Lombardi’s on the Sound) The views alone are worth a visit.

Bad to mediocre food. The scallops were cold. The baby onions that came with it were raw. It was hard to find any seafood in the spaghetti, so it was a bowl of spaghetti. Even the children’s chicken “nuggets” were overdone and dry. The steak was mediocre (the steak from Costo is much better). No GF options. This used to be an excellent restaurant. Not anymore. Maybe it will change hands/chef again and return to a full menu with good food. BTW, what was the point of having (6) people hanging around in a group serving no one and doing nothing? It was very odd. Go for drinks and appetizers for the view.

My steak wasn’t cooked how I wanted. I dont think their food is worth the price but we enjoyed the view and our server was very nice. We also had a Carpaccio (I didn’t take a picture of it).

Steak was Ok. Burrata was the worst I ever had. Mozzarella was hard and prosciutto was dark brown and I questioned if it was spoiled. Grounds also seemed a bit run down since I’ve last been here when it was Lombardi’s
