This spot was the best little gem on Black Mountain. The cuts of steak were perfect. Everything was delicious. We kept going back every day we were there. The owner was very nice and had great recommendations. They also have a little bar connected to the grocery store. My kind of place! Lol. There was also a restaurant next door. The vibe was spot on. The energy was perfect. The cook was amazing. Next time we come I will buy my groceries here again. I was so happy to find a place to accommodate my style and the prices were good too. We went everywhere but if you are ever in this little town. Make sure you stop in this cute place and support the locals. Thank you for the fantastic service. We’ll will be back

This place is a hidden gem outside of downtown Black Mountain. Cute little market for quick items and the bar at night has great food and “Cheers” style atmosphere. Saturday night we enjoyed their movie night showing Dazed and Confused, wood-fired pizza and pasta. The owners have something unique here and the outdoor patio is great! A must stop when in Black Mountain.

This is a hidden gem in Black Mountain. I may be a little biased since I know the owner, but Maggie and Max have done an excellent job of creating a market with wine and prepared foods that would be great for a picnic on the parkway or to pick up for the weekend in your Airbnb, or when you just want something a little better than what you can find at the larger (boring) grocery stores. In addition, there is a great bar with fun decor, a good cocktail and wine list, and a menu of small plates that would be perfect for an afternoon snack or dinner. Located a little outside the downtown area of Black Mountain, it’s worth the drive and there is plenty of parking. An outdoor patio also welcomes you on a nice afternoon, where you can sometimes find live music too! I would be here all the time if it was a little closer!

Great place for lunch!!! Turkey club wrap was big and delicious. My wife had the veggie wrap and loved it. They came with chips and a pickle wedge. We ate on the spacious patio which had plenty of shade. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We even got a free chocolate chip cookie We will be back on our next visit to Black Mountain.

What a wonderful surprise! The breakfast was delicious. I had the burrito wrap with a tasting of Pinot Noir thanks to the Market special and Bob hand the biscuits and gravy! Both were great! We sat at the bar but the seating was quaint and spacious for the size. The market is full of international delights, fresh made salads, wines, cheeses and more! Less than a mile from downtown!

Classy, cozy, and coffee. Need I say more? Also great breakfast bites and lunch sandwiches. Nice staff and pleasant atmosphere. Good for conversation and concencentration. (Which is a unique combo for the area) Fast becoming a favorite and next to my favorite sushi place.

The Market has upscale items. Perfect for packing a picnic for the view at the top of a hike. The bar has the vibe of a neighborhood haunt. We live in Black Mountain and go there often.
