Stopped in for an early dinner on a whim. Food was delicious. The salad wedges were creative with plenty of options for dressings. Pretzel coated chicken breast was a healthy portion and my dining partner enjoyed the Polish bowl. I snuck a perogie. Yum!

My friend and I visited on a Saturday night on a whim. It was packed, they had some sort of band in the bar area, but we were seated in the dining room. I had the Corleone Sandwich, a choice of potato salad or fries… I went with the fries. It was amazing! Order it for dinner and lunch the next day! It was the perfect ratio of meat to bread. Fries were standard thick cut.

Beautiful 1800’s building, great patio. Didn’t eat but gave 5 stars for food based on what I saw coming out of the kitchen. Definitely will go back again when have more time to hang out and eat.

The service was top notch for starters. Our waitress was extremely friendly! The food was really good as well. The charcuterie board was excellent, so many good meats and cheeses on it! I also ordered the Mediterranean chicken sandwich, and it was very good. The chicken was juicy and the fries were perfectly seasoned Brownie points for the fresh chibatta bread too!

Finally! An awesome burger. The real deal … a chef that puts time and passion into what he’s doing. First visit was perfect… everything is top notch… burger was done on an open flame and you could tell they didn’t just slap a thin layer of beef on a greasy skillet… the beef was seasoned and grilled to perfection! We can’t wait to go back and try other menus option. Dessert wasn’t perfect too.

After a bumpy start at 3 other local taverns we found this gem. We were seated immediately by a waitress that was spot on. Made us excellent Old Fashioned drinks, and took our orders which were delivered quickly. The meals were delicious. Waitress and owners checked on us several times. Thanks for a Great Friday evening dinner.

We had our rehearsal dinner for 16 guests in the private upstairs room last month and could not have made a better decision having it at The Grumpy Beaver. Clair was wonderful to work with before and during the dinner. The food and service are amazing and the atmosphere was beautiful. We chose a buffet style dinner with chicken and beef and sides and a charcutier starter which all our guests agree, everything was delicious! I wish I had photos to share because there was just so much “WOW” when everything was set out.

Seriously I wish I could give this place a million stars because ohhh my gosh!! We had my sister’s baby shower here today and it definitely exceeded expectations. Claire, the events coordinator, was AMAZING to work with–I planned this baby shower while living in Arizona, a 3 hr time difference, and Claire was excellent with communication and setting expectations. The servers who worked our event, Hailey and Olivia, were so sweet! I wish I remembered the other nice woman’s name, she was extremely helpful and considerate! They went above and beyond to make sure the needs of our guests were met. We had about 50 guests total and the room was just the right size! The food was DELICIOUS! We got so many compliments from our guests on the food, and the cute little event room upstairs! We had a buffet style meal that included salad, pasta (bow ties in red sauce), pork, chicken, vegetables, and potatoes. The food was absolutely amazing! We also got the mimosa bar which was a hit! This was such a memorable experience for us and I am so glad the Grumpy Beaver staff was a part of it! Can’t thank you all enough for everything (:
