There are two burger joints that are considered Californian by design. One is In-N-Out, the other is the Habit. Between the two, The Habit is my go to burger spot to eat at, bar none. I love the taste of the char burger. The tempura green beans are on point. I get plenty of pepperoncinis to start off with. Oh! And at least two of their homemade ranch. It’s some of the best around.

The reasons why I chose 2 starts is for the bad attention that I had experience with the cashier Carolyne, she looked very rude since started to ask our order, we are improving our English and we struggle a little to order, she looked very impatient, my sister said one order in combo but she didn’t get it when she repeated before pay, Caroline got angry and said in very rude voice you didn’t tell me was a combo. She has heard us talking Spanish and she never talked Spanish for us but later we could heard her talking Spanish, is this your best customer service as a cashier? This happened today around 7

A great burger place, this is the only burger place to me that makes a lettuce wrapped burger presentable. I get lettuces wrapped burger elsewhere and it’s usually done horribly or falls apart after the first bite. I place my order through their app since the website wasn’t loading properly after I put in the zip code. I got the Double Double Charburger with chesse combo. I like that when you do it through the app, you can ask for extra tomatoes. But you can’t asked for light ice on the drink. My time was estimated to be ready for pickup in 10 minutes after they just open. When I got there, the parking lot had many open spots. I walked in and told them my name for my order but it wasn’t ready at the time I was given so they asked that I wait outside and they’ll call out my name when my order is ready. They have a speaker set up next to the door so they’ll announce your name. It took about 5-6 minutes after my pickup time for my food to be ready. My drink wasn’t filled all the way to the top (darn covid so they fill it up for you) and they only give me 2 packets of ketchup.

Grew up loving The Habit but lately every time I go my order is wrong. This last time I got a teriyaki char burger and they gave me a single with mustard and pickles. No idea where that mixup came from but it meant I paid more than I ought to for the burger I got. Food is still good but rather hard to enjoy something I didn’t even want. Hoping this is remedied soon.
