Great little sandwich shop with good selection of charcuterie (cured meats and cheese). My favorite sandwiches are the roast beast and the gobbler (each $15)! The daily specials are amazing too!

Great little hidden food place that I found while I was visiting town. I usually look for local places to try something new and different. Boy did I find the place. After talking to the owner he recommended the Reuben sandwich. This sandwich blew my taste buds through the roof it’s made from slow cooked brisket paired with sauerkraut and melted cheese and a side pickle. What a beautiful balance. I was back there again the next day to get three more for my family. I live in Sacramento and I would drive there just for this sandwich. $15 for this sandwich is a steal. Also enjoyed the bacon.

We just had one of their gobbler sandwiches and were completely flabbergasted at how delicious it was. They are a real gem and it’s amazing to have that quality of food in Nevada city. The bread alone was amazing, not to mention the meat. And the chocolate chip cookie too! Very impressed.

My absolute favorite spot in the area. I’m ashamed to admit the number of times I’ve found myself coming in multiple days in a row. All the employees are knowledgeable and clearly enthusiastic about their product and process, I’ve yet to have a recommendation go wrong and honestly don’t think I could considering everything I’ve tried has been worth talking about. Photo attached shows the Cosmic Roots Dry Cured Bacon that I cooked up, just look for yourself. You get what you pay for and each item is an experience in itself, I just cannot say enough good things about this place and will be happily returning for as long as I can.
