My wife and I were visiting the Blu Ridge Estate & Winery on Labor Day. Unfortunately, the only available restaurant was The Hamilton. We thought we were playing it safe by ordering the rack of lamb and crab cakes with mixed veggies, roasted potatoes and side salads. However, the lamb was dry, veggies were uneventful and the potatoes were probably leftover from breakfast. Refreshingly, the cost for the double Hendricks and tonic was very reasonable. The service was good. So, I provided a decent tip. But next time we’re in the area, we will probably grab some pizza from the winery instead.

Delicious food!! It was a long overdue date night, and my husband and I enjoyed every bite of our wonderful meal together. He got the wagyu beef strip steak that was on their specials menu and I got the Chilean sea bass off their regular menu. Both meals were delectable, we split each so we could enjoy both and what a meal it was! Hidden gem in Saylorsburg that has amazing food! Definitely a date night or nice family dinner spot. Can’t wait to go back!

WOW…this place is outstanding!!! Last time here in 2018, it was a dump…stuffing was coming out of booth seats. Ethan and his family bought it in 2019, and has transformed The Hamilton into a Pocono top-end restaurant. My wife had the crabcakes which were the very best she ever had. I had the veal piccata. Not the traditional piccata one thinks of, but outstanding nonetheless. With Pepe’s and Gaglione’s both closing permanently, the Hamilton will be a go to for sure.

The food here is very good. Dishes come out with great care to make the food look good. Best of all it tastes great too. This is my third time here. I have never seen a restaurant so clean. The dinning room is a bit odd though. Need to be more cozy like the bar.

My family had an awful experience last night. There were no menus available when we arrived, and we were eventually given only three menus for a table of 8. It took a long time for anyone to even fill our water glasses, and no one ever took our drink order. The dining room had a very weird atmosphere, and the blinds were completely closed so there is no natural light. The wait staff was inattentive, even though the restaurant was only at about 1/3 capacity. I would’ve understood if service was poor on a busy night, but the place was almost empty. We were seated for OVER TWO HOURS before getting our food, and the food was awful once we got it (after 9:00 PM). We sent a few plates back, at which point the chef brought out the entire staff and made a huge scene, which really ruined the experience for the few people in our group who were trying to enjoy their dinners. It was embarrassing to have ourselves made into a “learning experience” for the staff. The food was way overpriced for the quality of food and service that we received. One person from our group has been ill since getting home from dinner, and we assume it is food poisoning. Will not be back, will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A very nice local restaurant with a nice simple menu. Outstanding service and very well prepared drinks from our server Brianna. She was attentive and accommodating. The fried calamari was good and crunchy. The Chilean Sea bass was outrageously delicious. Very light and tender. The Seafood Risotto was good however very salty. The included scallops were delicious. This is a very nice and clean restaurant that takes pride in preparing the meals. Will definitely go back.

The food was really good and Liza was great but I had the seafood risotto and there was no lobster in it like there was supposed to be. So for that reason we won’t be back.Its not my place to tell the chef that the main ingredient of a dish was left out that’s shame on the chef. To answer your reply the menu clearly stated lobster as the first ingredient and why would I pay extra for something that was supposed to be included.Your explanation is a bit weak.Also my wife and I were seated in the bar and she and I weren’t happy about that paying top dollar to eat in the bar instead of the dinning room where everyone else was seated except us my wife is a bit over weight and a family with small children were also seated in the bar.You maybe a good person and Liza was great but some others in your employ need to be properly trained.

A very cute restaurant with an antique farm look. The food was amazing, I went over my comfort zone and bought the special, $50 for a steak made me nervous, but it was melt in your mouth Delicious and worth the price tag. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and they have a great wine list, including some wines from the locals

Incredible! The food was wonderful and our waiter Vinny was fantastic! All the food from the cesare salad to the warm apple strudel for dessert was made to perfection. We all had a different entrée…crab cakes, veal picatta, rack of lamb, and chicken francese. Each was freshly made and tasted absolutely delicious! It was slightly pricey but for the quality I think it was worth it. I’ll definitely go back again!
