My husband and I drove down from Valparaiso to check them out and was not disappointed. He had the Reuben, and I had the Friday night special, blue gill and fries. He was very impressed with the reuban and agreed with many others it’s the best in the area! My fish dinner was light, very flavorful and filling. Their homemade tartar sauce lifted the fish to perfection. Even the fries were terrific. They were not greasy and they were crisp! We will need to take the time to back soon.

We finally made it in to check this place out for dinner several weeks ago. We absolutely LOVED the food! The service was fantastic as well. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. Service was pretty quick too as they weren’t super busy when we were there.

The Hanger Grill in La Crosse Indiana, an aircraft and airport themed restaurant that has taken up residence in the former bank that occupied the building, the vault door still intact! Music was loud for our taste, but at least it was more of our pace of music comprised of 90’s country.

First, these people know how to cook meat! Had one of the better Reubens I’ve ever had here. And my companions ordered a mix of things (wings, burger, pulled pork). All said they thought the food was very good.

Pretty cool place, not at all what i would expect in hillbilly lacrosse. We had super good service and the food was really good. The kitchen doesn’t switch over to lunch until 11:45 so we waited a few minutes for that and it was worth it.

Really neat little place! Not a huge menu selection, which is fine with me. If it’s like 6 pages of options, then it’s hard to make a choice! My husband got the bleu cheese burger. I got the pilot burger, fries, and a local craft beer. Idk why, cuz I don’t really care for beer. I like wine. But beer seemed the specialty. I was surprised I actually did like this beer. We got bang bang shrimp appetizers, and they were crispy yummy! Burgers and fries both were delicious. Ambiance and decor was super chill n relaxed. There was a wide range of folks there. From seniors to infants. Will def be stopping by more often. Radio music too loud.

1st time had wings and loaded fries about a month ago. Everything was very good. Tonight we had wings and loaded tots. Wings were cold and chewy..tots were very small amount covered with cheese. It was just bad. We may try again,place can be great with the right quality control and portions. Maybe they need a good manager to control everything..food and staff

If there is one thing I can say about The Hangar, I love the atmosphere of it. The aviation theme is nicely blended with a wood and brick old-town pub feel. Even the restrooms have this applied to them, with the sinks being made from galvanized steel buckets.
