We’re The Hangout Bar & Grill, and we’ve been a local restaurant and bar here in Jacksonville, IL, since 2019. We believe in good times, good food, and good fun, offering a full bar, happy hour, and daily food and drink specials. We started this business to provide our community with a fun place for food and drinks. We’re looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. Service is wonderful. The food just isn’t my favorite. But a lot of people do love their food. I’ve only been twice so I just haven’t found what I like there. I had the pork fritters this time, they were just a little too salty for me but were good otherwise. The fries aren’t my favorite. Our food came out hot and fresh. Next time I’ll try something else and see what happens.

First time coming and it was fantastic! I had a hamburger horseshoe and my fiancé had the piggy tails(curly fries, bbq pulled pork, and cheese sauce) and it was all absolutely delicious!! We will definitely be back with the family!

Food was good besides the fact that i had to wait for 45 minutes before even getting my appetizer and it came not even a minute before the food. Waitress didn’t come to the table in the whole 45 minute wait to ask or check on us. Mozzarella sticks didn’t have any cheese in them and the sauce was completely frozen

I ordered cat fish fritters dinner,3 pieces wasn’t done all the way,waitress asked the boss an he took 90 cents off the meal,I felt like it could have been more like $2,the waitress was polite and did a good job,good home fixed meals,ceiling fans need a good cleaning,other then that it look clean.
