What an absolutely amazing gem. We stopped here on our way home from a long trip, and I’d honestly make another long trip (from Floyd county) just to eat here. I got blackened chicken thighs with cheddar grits and hand cut fries, everything was extremely well seasoned, and abundantly portioned for $12, I’d expect to pay double that anywhere else. My husband got a fried Nashville hot chicken sandwich and collards, and both were delicious. The collards were amazing. Our drinks stayed full the entire time, we had excellent, kind service, and our bill was less than $30. And to have gluten free options to boot? Cannot say enough good things about it!

Best collards I have EVER HAD ~ I strongly recommend the Pork Rinds (freshly made to order), Chicken Sandwich, Fried Catfish, Collards (of course) and Biscuit and Gravy (brunch favorite). Save room for the Peanut Butter Pie!

Had the deviled eggs which were great! We ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and bbq sandwich with side salad (extra $). Everything tasted wonderful! One staff working tables and register and she did great handling 6 tables and to go orders. Surprised to not see more smoked or bbq items on menu. Nice local corner spot.

Fresh & delicious! The chicken sandwich is the best I’ve ever had and the salad was so tasty, not a wilted leaf in sight. Plus where else can you get deviled eggs as an appetizer? The servers are sweet and friendly, and there’s a cute baby that says hi to everyone. You can’t lose at this place!

I’ve only been twice so far and both times I was satisfied with the service and food. The first time I visited I had the chicken pot pie and peanut butter pie, both homemade and delicious. The second time I visited I had the smash burger with French fries that are also homemade. The staff is sweet and friendly and the you also get large portions on your plate for reasonable prices. They also offer brunch Saturday and Sunday. I’m excited about going back and trying their Bayou Benedict breakfast plate.

Our third visit and the food was still superb. My hamburger was absolutely delicious and piping hot. Just the right amount of crispy and juicy… and the flavor, so yummy. My husband had the pork BBQ sandwich and it was gone in no time. He had the broccoli as a side and said even I’d like it because it had a wonderful butter flavor. The Mac-n-cheese is baked, yet still creamy. This food is cooked to order. Don’t go in expecting fast food, but boy is it worth the wait!

Hidden gem. Everything was delicious. We had the burger and pulled pork sandwich, with fries and collards for the sides. Yummy! Small menu but what they have is great! Will definitely return and we live an hour away.
