Friends took us here when we were visiting the area. I loved the kitschy diner decorations and the unabashed display of their political leanings. Both the food and the service were very good. And I loved that they have a full vegan menu. They only serve breakfast, but they do it well. A friend ordered the vegan raspberry pancake and it was humongous. It was easily the size of four or five regular pancakes. Other friends ordered the vegan wrap, and I got the Irish Bene.

Being able to have vegan choices in a diner was awesome enough, but the food was incredible, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere totally rocked! I can’t recommend this place enough! We’re moving to Northern VT an hour and a half away and we still plan on visiting the Hartland Diner at least once a month!

I was very disappointed with the service and food quality that I received. As soon as I sat down I ordered a small orange juice which was gone in 2 sips and the price was $7. I ordered a cheese omelet which took me about 25 minutes to get and it was very watery. Politics was being spoken and uncomfortably was shown. The women who served me was very rude. I would never go back to this place again. This is the worst diner I ever ate at in my life. I would recommend not to go this place. The prices are extremely high and the food is not good at all. Someone came in after us and ordered French toast , pancakes and eggs where they received their breakfast before I received my eggs. This dinner is very dirty and the workers are very unprofessional.

We love this place! Our kids beg us to come back to the “Dino Diner”, and even though it takes us a good 52 minutes to drive here, we do it. I mean, look at that ginormous blueberry pancake, delicious. We have recently left (fled) Texas and greatly appreciate a gem of a place like this. A place of freedom of expression. If you can’t handle it, then don’t come, easy peasy. You can find plenty of the opposite opinions blasted all over Texas places.

7.15.22 Random stop on our journey to Island Pond. And I absolutely hated all the political stuff posted all over the restaurant but I found it hilarious. I did find it entertaining and because I came to eat that’s what I’m judging. The staff was very friendly and my coffee cane out fast. They have little toys all over the place to play with. Fun and different. My breakfast was great. I enjoyed my food and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to dine here. Definitely a great stop.

Such a magical fun diner! Was a big surprise when we arrived and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is incredibly delicious — we enjoyed every bite!! Highly recommend!!! We got a pie to go as well… will edit my review once we have had it — I’m sure it’s delicious!

Seems customers are not allowed opinions here. I was there not long ago when employees refused the restroom to a potential customer. Not very nice considering they like to think they are all inclusive. Typical small town thinking. Were no blacks dining when i was there. Actually no one was there when I was, just the inbred staff.

LOVE! Worth the drive, and worth every penny. So much personality, and damn so tasty. The pancakes are massive, and I’m not exaggerating. 12+ inches diameter. Thick and yummy. Everywhere you look has a sticker, a dinosaur toy, or a sign. The personality of the owner and staff runs all over and I absolutely love it. Black Lives Matter, Pro Choice, and Pro LGBT.

So this place does not shy away from giving you food. It’s a mountain, literal mountain of food. It’s just on the pricy side, but once you see the amount of food it makes sense. The selection is good and there’s a list of specials for the day on the wall as well. The place is very small but the food is good if you’re willing to wait. They also keep an array of plastic Dinos for the kids to play with at the tables which I found kinda cool to entertain the young ones. Since it is a small place it’s not very handicap friendly. The entrance has a few rather large steps to go up before opening the door. Parking is also limited and it’s a one way parking lot so you’ve gotta pay attention to where you enter and exit the parking lot.
