We went to the inn for dinner. The building has been beautifully restored inside and there were a variety of groups having dinner because the dining room is flexible enough to handle anything from couples to large families. The food was excellent. Lemon Chicken, Mediterranean Chicken, and the steaks were all good, but our waiter said their pastas are also popular. For kids, they have a variety of burgers on the menu. Sandwiches are available at lunch, but not for dinner. There is a small dessert menu. We tried the Creme Brulee and it was delightful.

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. My husband and I are just in town for the weekend and we were between going here or another restaurant in town and I am SO GLAD we picked the Hassmer House! Super friendly service, beautiful dining area, and great food! It is obvious that someone put care into every detail of this restaurant.

Had an amazing stay at the inn! Plus, we had the finest dining I’ve experienced in Indiana at the restaurant, phenomenal chef! Seriously, a great place to stay when your friends say they want to go camping, hiking, photographing at the state park and have a meal at the restaurant if you’re anywhere within driving distance!

Great place to eat! I have had all the burgers. Cooked perfectly. Meatloaf is the Bomb. Awesome beer choices. Definitely need to eat here if you haven’t. Friendly on top of things staff. I go alot!

Sorry but I was so hungry, I forgot to do any food pics. So, visited on a Sunday. From Ellettsville IN. Around 1pm. I had there sirloin and it was delicious. Great place and great service. On the town square witch was also very nice. Highly recommend this place.
